This is a good question. Ultimately the Jones family selling the team would need to happen to fix the problem but to suck me in a bit I would say…

1. Ben Johnson head coach
2. Sign or trade Micah asap as I don’t want the drama
3. A good draft with a DT, DE, RB and WR that can help day 1
4. A free agent haul of a C and a vet TE
5. CB moves to G permanently
6. Hearing DO’s surgery and recovery went perfectly

That would help a bit.

I’m optimistic regardless of what happens in the offseason. That doesn’t mean I’m overly enthused. It just means I’m a normally optimistic person.

Now, what will get me enthused is a change in offensive philosophy and scheme. Something with more motion and creativity. That will take a change in coaching because it’s obvious that ain’t McCarthy.
