Let's just say I am curious. I like Roy as a player, but I wouldn't consider him untouchable. I tend to think the Cowboys faithful might overrate him a bit.

What would it take for you to trade him? I'd like some examples. Picks, players, whatever.

Or do you consider it too silly to even consider?

Two number 1 draft picks, with 1 being in the top 10 at the minimum and the other being preferably in the teens.

Anyway, at the top of my head, with those conditions, I would have to seriously contemplate a trade . . . . esp. at this time of the night for me! :)

I don't consider any player on our current team as untradeable. the closest would be last years draft picks and newman other than them no one.

For RW I'd take a first and third or a second and third this year and third next. Players (Straight up) I'd consider for him would include Carson Palmer, Dewight Freeny, I'd consider Ed Reed but not sure I'd pull the deal. Players and Picks would include anyone else.

I'll trade him for the rights to Brady Quinn!

Who knows, Quinn may make me eat my words next yr and become an undrafted FA.

I say everyone just drop the idea, it is a waste of time.

You are giving that guy who claimed this story more credit than he deserves. He now claims he knows who the next coach is....

I mean do you really need to hear anything else. Maybe he could just give us the scores and outcomes of this years schedule so I know whether or not to keep my season tickets..

anyway, I would just forget the whole idea because williams isnt going anywhere.

definitely not too silly, he's going to cost a lot to keep. I think Davis is capable of starting at SS and playing at a high level. I think that's more his natural position anyway. Pulling a move like that though would require us having a great FS.
Probably take at least a good player and a high draft pick, some kind of Herschel Walker coup.

This really has nothing to do with the report. The report obviously started the discussion, but I want to see what people would actually consider moving Roy for.

I would except a top 10 pick, a second rounder and a 4th. Or a 1st rounder and a next years 1st rounder.
I would also consider Ed Reed and another player on the Ravens roster.
I would take Shawne Merriman and the beast NT Jamal Williams in a heart beat.
I would trade for Urlacher and a number 2 for RW.
I would trade for QB C.Palmer straight up - and possibly throw in Ellis.

I wouldn't trade him off.. but if you talking about from Baltimore Ravens here goes...

Ray Lewis
Ed Reed
1st Round this year
and a 1st Round next year...

I know they wouldn't accept because I wouldn't want to trade him off...

Ignore the Ravens rumor. Simply "Would you trade him and what for?"

Apparently, you would trade him for the sun, the moon and the stars.

Tom Brady. The only player I'd trade him straight up for.

I wouldn't trade him for nothing. Yeah, there's safeties better than him, but I got adapted to Roy from day 1, and can't imagine to see him in another uniform. Hopefully he wouldn't ask for to much money.

I'd trade him straight up for a good, young franchise quaterback type for sure, like Palmer or Big Ben. Also a stud running back like LT or Alexander would be a no brainer IMO.

I'd trade him straight up for a number of players: Carson Palmer, Ben Roethlisberger, Peyton Manning; Tom Brady; Ladainian Tomlinson, and Julius Peppers (there may be more but those are the first to come to mind.)

I'd trade Roy Williams long before I'd trade Terrance Newman. That's no slight on Williams; I think Newman may be the best in football.

Roy for a 2nd and 2 3rds. thats a horribly lopsided trade for a top 10 pick.
