unless you somehow have Tivo'd every Baltimore Ravens game, how could you possibly talk about Roy's negatives and reasonably know anything about Reed's? If Reed were the ultra dominant playmaker everyone makes him out to be, why did he only have one int last yr? This isnt just directed at you, but also every other person clamoring for "lets trade RW for Reed!!!"...I'm guessing nobody who posts on this forum has seen more than a couple games a yr at best of Ed Reed...the rest of their exposure to him comes via ESPN highlights

I could care less about Reed. Him coming to Dallas is a borderline pipedream. I'm just trying to assess Roy's marketability. I don't think it's a coincidence that his best year occurred with Woodson opposite him. He's never going to be fluid in pass coverage, but I'd glady trade those big hits for a pass breakup or two.

Let's just say I am curious. I like Roy as a player, but I wouldn't consider him untouchable. I tend to think the Cowboys faithful might overrate him a bit.

What would it take for you to trade him? I'd like some examples. Picks, players, whatever.

Or do you consider it too silly to even consider?

A strong safety who doesn't "F" up in coverage all the damned time. I'd take Ed Reed for him in a heartbeat!

ed reed is leaps and bounds better than roy wiiliams.williams is so overated by you guys, its not even funny.

Truer words were never spoken. Ed Reed gives you way more in coverage and gives up very little in the bone jarring hits catagory. Since a safety's primary objective is to be a "safety" valve in the secondary Roy Williams is just average at his position. He is too often out of position or sitting back looking like he doesn't know what the hell is going on.
