What would you do about Roy? Trade him?

vs. having offspring that won't learn *why* something is the way it is, just rely on some dude who sounds like it to you?

if i'm going to get into an argument, i'd prefer to be able to argue/fight for myself vs. say 'well this guy knows more than you so, mblneeeeh!'

i'm not talking to *that guy* i'm talking to you. if your best defense is to simply decflect and run behing someone's skirt, why even get into a discussion?

I'm using the film breakdown of a guy who gets paid to do it and has played pro football to support my argument.

And you?

That's right - throwing insults because my opinion dares differ from yours.

You can't break down the film yourself. So you have to rely on someone else to do it for you. Yet we're supposed to value your opinion in this thread?

you don't have an opinion. you have tom jackson. if i wanna talk to tom jackson i'll go find his newsgroup. what if i find someone else who breaks down film who like roy williams. do i lob him and you and we're stalemated till you go dig up someone else?

i'll be glad to insult your opinion as soon as you show it but for now you're just a tom jackson parakeet. got no use for that.

You still think nobody else followed a receiver out of their "zone"?

And again -- what happens if Watson runs a curl at the goal line and Moss runs a post to the back of the end zone, both in Roy's "zone"? Are we just calling stupid coverage schemes to give away free touchdowns?

Judging by Williams' coverage - yeah we are 'giving away free touchdowns.'

Anyone want to make excuses for the blown coverage on Kyle Brady while we're at it?

We're all glad that you value someone else's opinion. Because you count.

This term should be used more often when owning folks in internet arguments.

i actually had to stop and sound that one out and while i'm not sure how it sounds i'm damn sure i spelled it correctly. : )

I can look at it myself, but my opinion ranks as much as any other internet know-it-all's.

I can trust the opinion of someone paid to do it and with actual experience in the game without feeling somehow insulted like others.

When I looked at the film, I saw exactly what Tom Jackson did.

So, you based your opinion on Roy lowering his head after the play. Gotcha.

Go find that 'someone else' and show it to me - then talk.

Too bad if I saw exactly what Jackson did and it hurts your feelings.

well, till he says something you don't agree with them it's time to find another expert to ride their coattails on.

Did I ever mention him 'lowering his head'?

Nope.

Get your facts straight first.

Wow. Rarely do you actually have someone mock someone in a thread only to have the person come back and fulfill the mocking in that very same thread.

Still waiting to see what evidence or even opinion you've got to dispute any of it......

wrong again. i don't care what tom saw.

i don't care what you saw.

my argument is that it's stupid to sit around and fling writers at each other as if that's the end-all-be-all.

if you don't want to have an opinion, fine. don't. but don't strut around as if you have one only to run to someone elses when called upon it.

my "argument" has nothing to do with williams or the breaking down of film but rather how ignorant it is to pass someone elses opinions off as your own cause you happen to agree with him but yet can't explain why.

God forbid our great run stuffing Safety peeks into the backfield on the goal line for a running play. Nobody runs on the goal line. Anybody who has a problem with Roy on that play is crazy. Alot of great players get fooled on playaction. But i guess Roy is supposed to see everything on the field. Just expected to be the perfect safety. NOW i see why he does'nt talk to the media and acts shady towards fans. He probrably sees how flaky Cowboy fans really are.

my apathy to you forbids such actions.

Anwer this question -- who covers Watson on a curl at the goal line?

Or why did we have three guys in coverage on the left side against two receivers, one in the middle against nobody and two on the right against two receivers (with one supposedly being responsible for covering both of them)? Could it be HAMLIN who was out of position on that play, like he was on two other touchdown passes Sunday?

Are you blaming Roy for Kyle Brady's catch, too?

If so, WHAT STUPID KIND OF COVERAGE has a safety who lines up on the far right -- outside the tight end on his side -- covering the tight end who is lined up on the far left instead of the one who is lined up right in front of him and running at him? And what STUPID KIND OF COVERAGE allows the TWO linebackers who are right across from the tight end to let him run right past them for an easy touchdown catch?

Fact is that I do have an opinion.

The opinion that Williams blew two coverages resulting in two touchdowns.

Another fact is that a guy with a much more informed opinion than anyone here saw the exact same thing I did.

I have yet to see you 'fling' anything other than insults. You've got jack to support your argument - nothing. At least I have the opinion of a professional seeing the same thing I did - you've got nothing.

The fact is that the rest of the NFL world sees it, but heaven forbid if every player on the Cowboys' team isn't the best in the world!
