McCarthy seemed to be testy in response in his recent press conference when asked about the lack of use of WR Brandin Cooks.
" I don't play fantasy football "

Suggest to me that these coaches simply do not have a clue .. or they are hiding something internally.

But I think one of the two things is gonna happen post season:
1) Either Cooks is gonna ask to be traded ..
2) there will be major changes in the coaches staff to help better the offense which would
accommodate guys like Cooks ( and Pollard)

Methinks if Kellen Moore were still here, Cooks would have had 500 yards and 2 TDs at this mid-season point.

Never been a problem for him in the past.

Oh, it’s a problem for him now have you ever seen him in person? Have you ever been field level? I have - he is miniature.
You either have to hit him on a go route or on a/across the middle however, if you ever notice when he catches the ball over the middle, he usually wants it rolling on the turf for a few extra yards because he doesn’t want to get hit
He has survived at that height for a long time, because of his speed but not any longer

I heard this morning he was getting about 4.5 yard on separation yesterday...pressure on QB could be part of it or they made up there mind ball is going to Cee Dee no matter what, worked yesterday but may not next time.
