Ahhh, that's true, that's true. I didn't think of him replacing Boldin. Probably cause I can't see a team that just got to the Superbowl screwing their team up by bringing in a player whose going to want to be the #1 on the team and the team already has Larry Fitz. I can just imagine the issues that would pop up there when TO caught only 3 balls for 3 yards while Larry snagged 9 for 130 and 2 TDs.
I don't know where Az is at with there negotiations with Boldin. I mean, he may just say you guys aren't paying me enough and decide to leave. I can't say one way or the other, which is why I was interested in where they are at. However, at least where TO is concerned, he may not have a whole lot of options. It may come down to just a couple of teams who might be interested in him so he may not have a choice but to be a 2nd option for a team who might be looking for one player. Besides, if you look at Arizona's offense, they had 3 WRs with over a thousand yards this year. If you plug in TO, that might be a viable solution for Az, who does not want to get into a long expensive contract. They are built to win now, so to speak. They have made the decision to go with Warner so Lienart is down the road, if at all. They are banking on a 2 or 3 year run, as I see it. Boldin is not the stretch WR in Az. He's a possesion guy and TO, looks to me, as if that is probably where his game is headed at this stage of his career. Based on what I've seen, TO is no longer the vertical threat he once might have been. He can still do it but that's not his game any longer. TO might be a good 2nd option for Az if they can't get a deal done with Boldin.
