Yep, they are negotiating with or waiting on other candidates. Moore will be slotted in between the new OC and Kitna. If they can’t land a new OC, Moore will get the job.

A. The first name they thought of, so they put it out there to see the audience reaction

B. A backup plan if no one else comes to terms. I feel like they were waiting for the playoffs to finish up (especially for the Saints and Chiefs) so now they’re maybe awaiting for coaches/ possible people from said teams to come and interview in Dallas? Not sure.

Plus, we got all offseason to find someone. Gotta give them time.

If I had to take a guess they are looking at all options. Right now the rumor is all in house outside of hiring Kitna as a QB coach. How much is media speculation and how much is fact none of us know
