What's the one thing that sets you off? Your #1 pet peeve

Yes, the key is to focus on whether or not your passing somebody if you're in the left lane regardless of speed. If your passing them, then most likely you'll eventually be able to move over after you pass them if somebody wants to pass you. If you drive the same speed or slower than the people to your right, then you're screwing up the entire Highway system and making it more dangerous for everybody.

Slow drivers don't seem to understand that they are creating a hazard.
Does it really matter whether a driver comprehends they are creating a hazard? Every person who receives a driver's license does so with some instruction concerning the rules and laws of driving. There's no driver's ed out there teaching teenagers, who are trying to get their learner's permit, to drive like they are in a bumper car rink. The rules say the left lane is for passing. The highway signs say the left lane is for passing. What? Some drivers suddenly develop selective amnesia and selective vision? Nope, people know exactly what they are doing.

One last comment about the left lane/slow driving nonsense :)

I love videos where a patrol car pulls a slow driver over for blocking the passing lane. There is one cell phone video floating around showing a police officer getting behind one of the drivers and pushing him or her across four or more lanes of traffic to the far side of the road and then driving off. That was cool...

Garrett's clap.

Or his rhetorical coach speak deal. That stuff works if you're Hoodie or Pop, guys with multiple titles - otherwise you look like an idiot, especially when you're a .500 coach with a franchise QB.

We go 3 and out and the cameras are showing Garrett clapping on the side line.

Eh, I heard Jay Gruden "keep it real" by trashing his QB. While I agree with everything he said, he looked like a total buffoon up there. Coaches are supposed to be above that stuff. So you get one of three things -- coaches like Belichick and Pop who don't say anything, guys like Garrett who spew one cliche after another, or guys like Gruden and Rex Ryan, who keep it real and invariably wind up looking unprofessional because of it.

It takes almost no effort to click your turn signal on...come on people!!

I literally cursed someone out yesterday, the guy just stops in front of me for no apparent reason, oh yeah, he had to turn. YOU (*&(*)(*&(^% IDIOT, PUT YOUR TURN SIGNAL ON!!!!! So I sped up to get in front of him, I had to turn too, and flipped my turn signal on to the left then to the right to show him how to do it. So just up the road, we both had to turn left, yeah, he put it on then.

What else? Oh yeah, corners that don't turn their head when the ball is in the air.

Our inability or lack of heart to attack known weakness of the opposition with some guts.

Basically whole JGs offensive philosophy.

But when one is in the left lane passing a long line of vehicles going under the speed limit, but you are going 10 MPH over the speed limit to pass them. But someone behind you is riding your arse to go even faster is ridiculous even more. And I for one won't pull into the right lane only to be stuck not to pass anyone because the idiot wanting to pass me while 10 MPH over the speed limit decides to not pass at all. :D

Wrong. It's not your job to monitor the speed limit. By that logic any moron could "pass" at any speed and they'd technically be passing someone.

The left lane is for faster traffic. If it is faster than you than get over with the other slow people. There you won't be causing any danger to other people.

Can you determine if someone has an emergency while you're enjoying your leisurely pass? Right. You can't. Get over or stay on the side roads or better yet walk:p

You are clearly the problem and you should lose your liscense. Or possibly citizenship.

Catching a punt inside the ten.

Onside kick to the middle of the field.

Psss interference on an uncatchable ball, how do you know it was catchable.

I actually cannot remember an official ever not calling a penalty because a ball was uncatchable. The rule is there, but totally ignored by officials.

This x 1000.

Apparently they don't even teach people that rule. Getting a drivers license is way too easy. They should make it a really difficult test to keep idiots off the road.

They keep spending tax payer money to build wider and wider highways, but enforcing that rule would make the existing highways more efficient.

18 wheelers that get in the passing lane going ten MPH under the speed limit but 1/10th of a MPH faster than 6 other semis he wants to pass...20 miles later you can finally get by him.

Why did you go off and mention road emergencies? :)

In my opinion, people have gotten really callous about yielding the road for emergency vehicles. Almost two years ago, I tried driving my brother, who experiences seizures, to the hospital. I had my headlights on and flashers going. The trip was about 20 miles. No one... and I do mean no one... yielded the right-of-way. I drove on the shoulder, whipped back-and-forth between lanes. Heck, a car or two even slowed down in front of me when there wasn't a vehicle in front of them. I never cursed so much in my life that day. I do not know why it surprised me. I have seen drivers stay in the road in front of ambulances with their lights on. I hope it's just a generational thing and not something permanent.

Empty backfield in short yardage situations. Drives me absolutely nuts.

I thought Dallas was the only team that did that until Monday (or was it Sunday) night's game. Denver went empty on 3rd and 1,in the red zone, no less, IIRC.

We live in a time when "respect" is a one-way street. Screw you, but "dis" me and I'll shoot your *** for it. Unreal.

1. You have 3 lanes, I'm in the middle lane and no one else is around... A car pulls out right in front of you in your lane going slow.
2. Cars entering the high way doing 40 mph.
3. People texting at the light when they're in front, and sits there for like 2-3 seconds at the green light.
4. You're on a busy street, 3 lanes on either side PLUS a center lane for turning, yet some people turn from one of the main lanes. YOU IDIOT, GET IN THE MIDDLE LANE AND TURN.
5. People thinking that passing yards are what makes a QB great. What makes a QB great is a QB willing his team to a victory no matter the circumstance, and not letting pressure phase them.
6. Empty set at the goal line.
7. Receivers who let the DB just catch the ball right in front of him when he had ample time to break it up.
8. Return guys who come out of the end zone 9 yards deep.
9. Coaches who BS the media with this cliche talk, just say what's on your mind. We do that here.
10. I hate losing
Oh yeah, you're in a MOvie theatre with your woman, no one is in there but you two, a couple comes in sits next to you.

Most of us have followed professional football for while now. So, there is a large body of work to pick from.

What's the one thing that sets you off?.

Example; Lets take driving for example. I'm not perfect and neither is anyone else. We are human and make mistakes. I'm older so, i forgive for the most part...except for one.

I have ALWAYS hated the 2 minute warning. It's dumb and brings the game to a screaming halt. Kills momentum..Etc Etc...........
You just can't pass me and then make me slow down suddenly so you can turn off...(that's the worst for me)

So, in our sport...if you cover it all from start to finish....what is your..."you just can't?"

1. You just can't.....call PI a spot foul any longer. it gives teams new life. that's mine.

Sorry, sentence in wrong spot...Anyway

You prefer the CFL's 3 min warning? Clock stops after every play regardless....
