He's actually had 3 bad games in a row. 3 games now under 200 yrs passing with only 3 TDs one in each game. That's just not enough production.

He only needed to throw the ball 24 times to put up 31 on the Commanders. 8 yards per attempt. You'd rather have yards than win the game? We dominated and scored at will, I wish he could throw under 200 yards every week if it meant we scored like that. That was actually a very good game.

Against the Bucs just be efficient. Convert third downs. Try not to throw more than 1 pick. The Bucs are nasty right now. Be sharp on routes coming out of breaks. Be smart in blitz recognition, and knowing where to go with the ball when he sees the blitz coming. Use his legs when he sees an opportunity, that's an asset.

If someone is expecting 280+ yards and 2+ TD passes with 0 int's against this Bucs defense, you probably don't watch the NFL much. If he actually accomplishes that against this Bucs defense right now, then we can go ahead and book our tickets to the Super Bowl against NE.

Sure he's done very well for a Rookie I'm very proud of him. I was all for letting him stay out there this year even after Romo was healthy because we were winning but regardless of his performance I was always bringing Romo back over a Rookie for the playoffs. It's just not fair to Dak to put the Cowboys nations hopes in dreams of a SB on him it's not fair to him or the team. I'm so glad he got this opportunity to evaluate him and overall I am very pleased. I'm sure he has a bright future but right now he needs to take a seat in my humble opinion.

Dak showed he can beat blitzes, so now defenses are showing blitz, then backing off into his throwing lanes. This is from Sturm.

And now he can add this "fake blitz fall back into coverage" look to his experience list. The rook will learn to recognize it and have a remedy to beat it. It's good he's experiencing these scenarios so that it can better prepare him for the playoffs. At first i was wondering why the play took so long to develop but it seems Dak didn't hit his first read Witt because he was short of the stick.

Haha, "settling" you know Brees, Rivers, and Wilson didn't even get close to those numbers in the last month right? Alex Smith was actually the best passer against them in the last month out of all those guys, and he had like 260 yards.

They've forced 10 turnovers against those teams in the last month. Not one of them had 3 td passes either.

At 8 yards per attempt average that's putting the ball up 40 times. If we pass that much it's not going to end well.

If he has 300 yards all purpose, with 2 TD's and no turnovers that's a great game against this defense. I mean, really good. More realistic is probably about 270 all purpose yards, 2 TD's passing/running and a turnover, between FG's and Zeke I figure, optimally, we'll score about 24 points, and that's being optimistic. That's still more points than they've given up in a month. Chicago did 5 weeks ago but TB's defense suddenly just started destroying people in the last month or so. Best Pass D in the last month. Chargers put up 21 but they were the only ones close to 24, Wilson got owned, Brees got owned, Rivers sucked, they had some success running the ball though so they pounded it a bit, that gives me hope.

So yeah, just trying to help you out. If anyone's expecting 325 yards and 3 td's with no turnovers, you probably shouldn't watch the game.

270 all purpose, 2 TD's. No turnovers would be awesome but shouldn't be expected, They made Brees/Wilson/Rivers throw a combined 7 INT's the last 3 weeks. That's crazy man.

There's no stat but I want to see him running plays designed out of the pocket you know like about 5 weeks ago when he was flourishing.

Little by little we've been going back to the drop back and wait for something to open which will get the same results we had all of last year. We must attack the entire field.
