Whats the stat line that you would like to see Dak get to make you feel better

Yes, that's the criteria for most of Dak's supporters, just win. Never mind evaluating the actual play of the individual player, that stuff isn't important. LOL.

If it makes you feel any better I hold Tony to that same standard.

I also consider myself more of a Cowboy supporter than a Dak supporter

20-30 280- 300 yds 3TDs 0 int

The Stat line is not the big thing. Is he converting 3rd downs? That is what Dak has to do and that is what he had been doing up to the Minnesota game. Convert 3rd downs, sustain drives, keep Zeke on the field, dominate time of possesion.

That translates into points and wins IMO

He's actually had 3 bad games in a row. 3 games now under 200 yrs passing with only 3 TDs one in each game. That's just not enough production.

I don't think Washington was a bad game per say but I do think he did start having trouble finding open WR's in that game. That said, I think Washington always plays our WR's tough....

I hear you but I keep hearing that he has had two bad games Vikes and Giants he won the Vikes game so why are they saying he has had two bad games in a row?

He's definitely had his struggles.

I feel like the stage has finally gotten a bit big for him. They have basically played two straight road playoff games imo.

Now if he struggles at home Sunday night and Dallas loses I think Tony may need to play from there on out

LOL, right? They'll never make it to the Individual Player Bowl with an just win attitude like that!

From PFF, these are the top 10 QB vs the blitz.

Dak showed he can beat blitzes, so now defenses are showing blitz, then backing off into his throwing lanes. This is from Sturm.

Isn't this a zone blitz? MLB blitzes but then the DEs/OLB peel out last second.
It's a well designed play against these routes.

Stat line doesn't matter a whole lot, though when having the rating he had it was quite telling. Clean up the mechanics, know when to move around in the pocket or even escape, show some damn zip on passes so CBs stop jumping routes, and fix the accuracy issues. Do that, and then improve all the way into next season and I'll get on board.

With the amount of sophomore slumps that happen in this league, there should be no reason to settle here.

Not concerned with line stats outside of no turnovers, main thing I want to see is him making the correct reads and making the calls at the line of scrimmage to put the offense in the best situations. one thing I have seen over the last 2 games is Dallas leaving themselves in 2nd and long and 3rd and long. Cowboys must get back to keeping the down and distance in their favor.

I don't care about 300 yards passing, just as I never cared that Aikman did not post many 300 yard games what I do care about is Dak getting this offense rolling again.

It doesn't make me feel better.

It's a poor standard to judge individual players, no matter who it is.

I don't spend that much time or energy thinking about it.

I watch the games discuss the happenings with whoever I am with.

And then I read reviews of the game the day after or so to see if the reviewer saw the same thing I did and if I missed anything.

Other than that the individual performances don't mean too much to me as all I really want to see is a W.

Well in the grand scheme of the TEAM, the W is all any of us care about.

When you get into more depth about what players offer the best chance to get the W, then player performance analysis comes into play. I don't care about stats for the player's personal accolades, but I do care about how they play because their play will increase or decrease the chances of winning. Players can play bad but the team as a whole still wins, and vice versa, but analyzing their play can better indicate how they impact the team's chances.

I just want the W, and I feel player X gives the team the best chance at the W, hence I want player X to be playing.

Even though only four end up rushing and 7 drop into coverage, technically I guess you could call it a blitz for the reason you mentioned. Not exactly your garden variety blitz for a rookie QB though.

a W and zero turnovers.

I couldn't care less about how many yards or TDs he throws as long as we win and he doesn't turn the ball over.

If Dak throws for 90 yards and Zeke runs it in 4 times...that's wonderful. If he throws for 400+ and 5 TDs...that's great too.
