The lack of depths in Folk's kicks do not seem to be counterbalanced by an increased hang time to me. Therefore, I see his short kicks as putting our coverage units in a bad situation. I actually thought that our coverage units were better than usual today. But when your kicker isn't putting KOs past the 10, it isn't going to reflect in the opposition's average starting field position like it should.Hostile;1784292 said:This explanation doesn't wash. You're asking about Folk, not the coverage units. He has very little to do with coverage except for depth of his kicks. He hasn't been as amazing as he was in college on the kickoffs, but "dead leg?"
Please.
I am a fan of Folk and have been happy with him all year. But denying his recent problems with kickoffs is just choosing to wear the blinders.
