Th argument was nothing to do with playoff appearances, it was because you talked about the Commanders not getting it done in December, while saying the Cowboys do.

No, I talked about the Cowboys not getting it done in December. I said the Commanders start off quick, and they fail to not even make the play-offs. They were 6-2 in 2000, and failed to make the play-offs. The football season doesn't start in December, it starts in September.

Also, you talk about losing in that decade span....we had 3 winning seasons, you had 5. And our post season and december records are still better. Why is it so hard for you to admit you were wrong? It's not admitting anything other than the stats prove your argument has no basis of fact in it.

Look at that... You had a better record overall, and less winning seasons. You know what that means? You suck more on a seasonal basis than we did those years, meaning you were more consistent at sucking.

Learn to read first... Then come back and talk to me...

It's actually 2, b/c clearly you don't know. I love fans like you. You know nothing, but run your mouths like you do. 2-5 in the last 7. That's right. Downplay the Skins beating you. It's cool. I know for a fact that it turns your stomach.

I said two, because this is the tenure of Wade Phillips... We can go further back to the overall record if we wanted genius... You know, the record over the last 10 years... How many times did Dallas beat the Commanders during the last ten years?

Do me a favor -- find where I compared Campbell to any of those players. Take your time. I know you read slowly.

Your cheer-leading your boys who are throwing out stats that compare him to Elway and Brady, and Aikman. This thread is full of them. The latest was trying to compare the TO ration between Brady and Jason for every 2 INTs thrown in a game.

4 games, 0 turnovers. None. But then agian -- there's no way he could have improved. Or Zorn is actually a good coach. Or anything like that. I mean he sucks. Clearly. He's the suckiest suck that ever did suck. He will revert to sucking any moment now....any moment...

Wow... 4 games and no Turn-overs... 4 freakin games out of a what, 3 or 4 year career... Look at that... Jason Campbell is so insignificant that I don't even remember when he came out in the pros... How many times has Jason campbell been bashed by the DC media... Last year, you were riding the jock of Collins...

You guys jump the band-wagon mighty quick...

Or MAYBE he is a talented, mobile QB who is has turned the corner? Nah, no way. Only Cowboys players do that!

So 4 games is enough to say he has turned the corner, after how many years starting? How many TOs did Garrard have last year? He's way better than Campbell and he isn't that good either.

I'm actually here to talk football. I can't get to ES from work. And I like talking about this rivalry. It's the greatest in sports. I like discussing/arguing/talking smack with those who know football -- and toying those who don't, like yourself.

Coming from a person that thinks Trent Green was great. Once again, how many winning seasons, has Trent Green had? And how many other teams are there in the NFL for you to come to a Cowboys forum? That's right, your infatuated with the Cowboys...

No, actually you didn't talk about the Cowboys NOT getting it done in December.....at least, not until everyone in the forum called you out on it. This is what you ORIGINALLY said. Call me crazy, but it doesn't sound like you're bashing the Dallas play in December.

We Dallas fans know that December is key... BTW, we are nowhere near the Commanders in terms of starting off 3-1 and failing to make the play-offs over the past ten years... That has been a consistent staple of your team...

I know what I said and yes I did... The issue of the Cwoboys play in December is the subject of Dallas for the past 5 years... Steve Young said it doesn't matter what they do now... And even if I said that for the sake of argument, I never spoke about the Commander's RECORD IN DECEMBER.... Notice the words STARING OFF attached to the subject, Commanders...

Like you said, just learn to admit when your wrong and own upto it... You guys went 6-2 and failed to make the play-offs... Hell, I don't think the Cowboys ever had such a collapse..

Oh, kinda like your 4-1 start in 97, or your 7-3 start in 05? Both times failing to make the playoffs.

You haven't won a post season game since the Macarena was popular. Since Clinton started his second term. We've won 2. I'll take post season wins over regular season wins any damn day of the week.

9-7 record is a collapse? Your team in 2000, lost 7 of their last 9 games. They won only 2 more... We just went 3-4 during that stretch... That isn't a collapse.. BTW, in 1997, we were 3-3 in our first six games... Never were we 4-1 in 1997..

I stand corrected, you were 3-1 in 1997 and finished 6-10. Finishing 3-9 is a monumental collapse.

On the other hand, how can you say us missing the playoffs after starting 6-2 is a collapse, but you starting 7-3 and missing out is not a collapse?

Oh, and you went 2-4 in that stretch, not 3-4. A season only has 16 games smart guy.

Hate to say this, I really do, but they have.

1986

Started out 6-2 and then went on to finish 7-9, obviously winning only 1 game the rest of the year.

This was the season that we were cruising along, in the thick of the division race, when White got hurt against the Giants in a 17-14 loss and with Pelluer ( I believe that was his name) starting the rest of the way we totally crumbled. That was our first non-winning season in a long time.

In fact it was our first non-winning season in 20 years, and during that 20 years we made the playoffs 18 times.

Injuries to a starting QB doesn't count... ;) That is like saying the Patriots collapsed, because they lost Brady during mid-season...

But it doesn't matter... Jason Campbell still sucks... When Jason campbell got injured last year, they went on their run and made the play-offs... And all the Commanders fans in Washington were calling for the head of Jason Campbell..

We also called for the head of Brunell, until he rallied and we kept winning out to finish the season and make the playoffs. That's what football fans do. We complain when it's bad, and we celebrate when it's great.

Kinda like you guys with Garrett. Last year, EVERYONE in Cowboyland was screaming for him to be coach. Then after we beat you Sunday, I have seen multiple threads on here about how he's incapable of the job, he'd suck, his schemes wouldn't work, etc. But if you win out for the rest of the season, you'll be singing his praises again.

Also, you can't say a guy sucks when he's only played in 24 games. There is nothing to base it on. It would be like you saying Tony Romo is a future hall of famer. It's ridiculous to call someone great or terrible this early. Unless they happen to be Quincy Carter, Heath Shuler or Ryan Leaf. Sometimes it's just too blatantly obvious. :D

You're like the chronies on Fox and CNN. You just try to spn it to whatever your agenda is. Your fellow fan gave a perfect example of your team doing what you bashed the Skins for, and you say it doesn't count because of an injury. It doesn't matter the reason, a collapse is a collapse.

We get that you obviously hate JC. I have no problem with that, because I hate Romo. At least I have the decency to show some respect and admit he's a decent QB. You keep harping on JC being a crap QB, but the evidence doesn't back it up, especially since there isn't enough evidence yet. If JC had TO to throw at his whole career, I'm sure you'd be singing a different tune. When you have one of the best to throw to, you always look good. Bradshaw is a prime example. Great QBs get it done even when they have nobody most of their career (Favre, Elway, Marino, Moon) Imagine Marino or Elway's stats with a guy like TO to catch it.

A win is a win. You LOST in pathetic division games. What does that say about you? You make my point even more clear.
