All this talk about Romo coming back.

What about Dez?

This team is doing very well without him.

Butler is getting his. Thanks to Dak.
Romo didn't/couldn't/wouldn't get Butler involved.

Does Dez really make us better or does he start his nonsense and alter this team chemistry?

No. We've seen Butler grow into a more trustable option -- even though his penalties and drops have been harmful -- which only strengthens the stable of receivers.

At the same time, Dez can do so much more than Butler. The cliche of drawing the defense's attention is true.

The terrific thing about the way this offense is rolling is that the ball isn't being forced to anyone. It's not as if Dez's return guarantees he's getting 14 targets. THAT would throw off the chemistry.

If he's open, it'll come his way. If he's not, it'll go to Beasley, Witten or Williams.

I think having Dez back will undoubtedly be a net benefit. He's flat out our most explosive player (Zeke a close second) until proven otherwise. Defenses will have to account for him. And even if he doesn't put up the big numbers for us he will open up things even more for the passing and running attacks.

Yeah - he can be a headache at times but you have to acknowledge that he's been one of the biggest cheerleaders on the sideline while he's been out. He's inspired the team with his boisterous support and i believe the improvement we've seen in TWill and Butler can be attributed in some part to his constantly being in their ear during the game. He has impacted team chemistry very positively in my view over the past several games with his attitude.

As Dak expands his game with experience and confidence, Dez and he will make a great duo.

What's his nonsense? He just wants to win. If winning means him only getting five passes bit getting 70 yards and a td and he'll be happy. Dez means less men in the box to stop the run which makes Zeke more lethal

This is false. Dez is all about winning only if he's getting his. And if he's not, best believe he will let everyone know.

This reads like a First take topic.

Dak wasn't forcing the ball to Dez when he was healthy, so no.. it doesn't alter anything.

Dez is hurt. Dez drops balls. Dez thinks meetings should he optional. Dez costs a lot of money. Dez does attract double cuv.
Ok, 1 out of 5 convinced me.
Double him. I like to see the cap-friendly Bease and Butler get the ball.

Butler is still MEH **. He had that black in the back, then missed a perfectly thrown pass. He is WAY worse than Williams.

Uh...no.

Dez is a muscular big receiver with long reach and good hops. But he is neither particular fast nor does he have great quickness.

Great question.

Maybe his overall perspective has changed standing on the sideline watching us win without him these last few weeks. Hopefully he realizes he needs to fit in and not make waves.

Yes. I believe in question everything.

I am HOPING you are right. Really really hoping.

He's not going to get that every week.
Heck, when he's off he gets next to nothing sone weeks.
THAT will affect team chemistry when he "Terrell Owens" out there.

I always thought that Dez and Butler could work well.
Now, we see a butler making things happen.
We need both. But if Dez becomes a problem.... it's a big problem.

This is what's concerning.
This is my point.

No it doesn't.
And never said he was.
Clearly you missed the point.

Go back and re-read it.

Unless he does as @big dog cowboy says.... again this is a problem.

What games are you watching?

I've seen butler/twill combo catching balls.

Uh...no.

Yes. He's not getting separation per your post.

If you are not fast, have no quickness... can't get separation......then...

It's only a matter of time before the "double/triple coverage" excuse runs out.

He's too expensive to be a decoy.

Dak is out there with the blue collar crüe.... Dez is prima Donna in need of reality trip!

The two best vet players at their positions, do we really want them to go back out there this season?

Oh hold on a second.

I'm now in a mental state where I can discuss this question seriously.

And the answer is: yes.

That's funny lol

But you too clearly miss the point.

Do we really think that both, Terrell Williams and Brice Butler, receive strong contracts this next off season?

Naw, Dez Bryant is worth his keep.
