If he gets his act together he should be top receiving threat. Just get rid of the commercials, Dez.

I do love the 4-on-the-floor "Witten/Beasely/Williams/Butler" threat

He's having trouble staying healthy and he refuses to grow up and mature. The star on his helmet has become tarnished the past 2 years due to injuries and lack of production. OBJ just went out and had a bigger game yesterday than Dez will likely ever have in his career.

Dez has really never had the kind of game you would think he could have. He hasn't even had that many 100 yard games. The thing that was standing out with him was the TD's. No receiver in the league had more from 2012 to 2014 and now the TD's are disappearing.

Great question.

Maybe his overall perspective has changed standing on the sideline watching us win without him these last few weeks. Hopefully he realizes he needs to fit in and not make waves.
When did Dez make waves this year? This is a fanbase making things up. Dez's teammates love him by all accounts and want him on the field.

Man,

Clowns everywhere with these threads... Dude has been nothing but a good teammate, yet because he was scared about his injury that somehow makes him selfish? Just wow

This fanbase is brutal... SAS is right this is the worst fanbase in the history of sports, some of you are truly pathetic with your hate driven agendas. You make up falsehoods like they are fact.

Some of you need to stay away from TMZ, ESPN, FS1 etc...
You believe that is the first thing he skipped or was late to? Stop already. Dez is not a role model for young players at this point. He can become one if he chooses to, but first he needs to grow up a little. He also needs to learn how to take care of himself on the football field. The most recent injury should never have happened. The play looked similar to his undisciplined roookie year. He needs to learn to take the yards he can get while at the same time being smart and avoiding unnecessary risks. He can be a great player, but I still see the same issues he has had from day one. He must play smarter.

He is a 27 year old man

He was fined and apologized and explained his thought process. Everyone has moved on but you.

You live in a strange world
He is habitually late for team functions. It was not a one time thing. That crap will get old to the guys that are making the effort when Dez is not.

Dez just wants the ball more when we are not winning. Does that make him same as TO? Was Irvin same as TO? Was Jerry Rice?

Dez has never shown the "I love me some me" type of behavior. He is your typical passionate number one receiver that wants the ball when the team isn't doing well.

Hmmm. Brice Butler over Dez Bryant!?! Blasphemy!!!

Please don't call those clowns the "fan base". They are not the majority... just loud and ignorant to football.

We finally have a QB that can win by spreading the ball around. I think Dez sees all the fun those guys are having on the field and will do his best not to disrupt chemistry. The one you have to worry about is Jerry Jones stepping in and saying get Dez the ball because he wants his high priced receiver to put up stats. Then again, I think Jerry wanted to get the ball to Dez because our offense was looking atrocious last year and we were all wondering why our best receiver was being used as a high priced decoy.
