Its the QB's fault for not giving him a chance to make that catch. But the Dez haters will use that target as a knock against him anyways...
Why do our QBs never give him a chance on the ball? All I ever here about is Dezs great ball skills to go along with his jumping ability and all the time the ball is thrown 5 yards out of bounds.
Dak is too worried about the interception in my opinion. It took Romo a few years to truly trust Dez in one on one situations too. Tony did eventually learn exactly where Dez likes the ball. Dak still has to learn that.I don't think there is a QB in the league that throws a less catchable ball than Dak throws to Dez. I really don't know what the problem is.

Dak gets the ball to Witten when he is tightly covered...Dak is too worried about the interception in my opinion. It took Romo a few years to truly trust Dez in one on one situations too. Tony did eventually learn exactly where Dez likes the ball. Dak still has to learn that.
And Romo was never afraid of trying to make a play. It’s no coincidence that Dez had his best years with Romo.Dak is too worried about the interception in my opinion. He will literally be out of bounds before the ball arrives on many snaps.
Why don't these problems happen with other receivers? Dak gets the ball to Witten in tight coverage.
Because Romo explained the route to Dez before each play. And Romo was never afraid of trying to make a play. It’s no coincidence that Dez had his best years with Romo.
That was a good attempt at humor. Too long, repetitive, though.Because Romo explained the route to Dez before each play.
Romo: Dez, don't worry about the play call. Just line up over there, count to 5 while running then turn towards the sideline and look back.
Romo: This time count to 3 and turn away from the sideline.
Romo: Stand at the line and I'll throw it to you.

Every single WR on this team is having a down year. The cheerleaders don't want to acknowledge as to why that is. The answer is obvious if inconvenient.
Spot on. This is why, without Zeke, this offense will struggle. More 3rd & longs and he doesnt want to fit the ball in to tight windows.Right. Prescott's greatest strength is also a hindrance. He avoids mistakes at the cost of making plays. He's not looking to throw the ball into tight coverage and Dez has trouble separating. So do the math.
3500 yards passing is not anything to write home about.Dak is on pace for 3,586 yards and 32 TD’s passing.
Who is catching the ball for all those yards and touchdowns, when “every WR” on the team is having a down year?
