Serious question when do we try and load up with some vets and take a big time run at the Super Bowl??
I feel like we've been Cap cautious for over a decade while other teams make it work...
Your opinion.. would you be in favor of loading up for a 2/3 year shot at it?
Or "building" for something later on with a 30 mil dollar Dak?
Well our head coach has been in training for a decade...……………...if that doesn't say "win now", I really dont know what doesIt sounds more like a "win never" plan.
ROFL this team taking a shot, I laughed so hard
It appears the Cowboys objective is to present a consistent product over time and hopefully amass enough talent to break thru at some point.
It doesn’t look like it’s an all or nothing proposition as much as some fans would prefer.
Instead they appear intent being a steady contender.
A decade from now he'll be in his daddy's position, Stephen will be in his daddy's position, and Jerry...
If that's been the objective over the past 20 years, then they have failed miserably. Everyone said the Rams were in a win now mode when they picked up free agents last year? Guess what, the Rams are still going to be very good this year and probably the next few years. The slow build just isn't working. It appears the Cowboys objective is to present a consistent product over time and hopefully amass enough talent to break thru at some point.

That’s not half of it. People just don’t see these moveslol, I mean really, what else could we possibly ask for?
That’s not half of it. People just don’t see these moves
We got a TE who has never caught the ball
A retired TE
A FB we never use
And a good swing tackle
People just don’t see the genius at work here
We don’t have 2 to 3 years to load up on vets if you want to say goodbye to Cooper, Zeke and Jones.Serious question when do we try and load up with some vets and take a big time run at the Super Bowl??

We’ll try and draft their replacements along the way. Jerry appears to be planning on keeping his core of talent as long as he can. And why he’s staying away from big splashes in FA.We don’t have 2 to 3 years to load up on vets if you want to say goodbye to Cooper, Zeke and Jones.
When our team is better.
If we were confident about Dak as a passer, then maybe. But we shouldn't be confident about that.
Go Kitna! Go Moore! We need some coaching and some offensive scheme to make the most of what we've got.

It’s more complicated than that with Jerry.I’m confused? Dak is who he is? If he’s not the guy we should be getting someone better...
If we feel he does enough to win a super bowl you should surround him with as much talent as you can since you have him in the cheapest winningest contract for a QB we pay him like a million dollars
That was a successful era for Jerry and the Cowboys. And in his mind an entertaining product. That’s awesome can’t wait to watch this core get old like Romo, Witten, Ware, and Dez did
I agree... but after awhile fans (consumers) will start to get tired of a stale product and failure to make meaningful playoff runs or at least make the super bowlThat was a successful era for Jerry and the Cowboys. And in his mind an entertaining product.
Jerry can promote the heck out of 8-8 and 10-6. But not 5-11.
