When does Wade get canned?

Dont think it will happen during the season. After the season, good possibility.

I think we all know it likely won't happen but the real question is.......

Should it happen?

I think the answer is a resounding YES!

He won't. But does it matter as long Jerry is going to be the one hiring? And since Jerry is not going to fire himself nor will he stop being the guy who puts his Ego ahead of team good, this is what we are going to get.

Can cowboys get Art Rooney to interview the coaches and get to hire the next coach? Then maybe cowboys have a chance. If not, its same old, same old, with a different coach, IMO.

He'll be gone after the season. I can't see a scenario where it happens before that.

That's my problem with the situation.

He's on death row right now. He's like a horse with a broken leg waiting for the reaper to come.

Just get him out the door. Why wait? This team can play, shake things up and make a move in an attempt to save the season.

Jerry needs to just stop playing games and let Garrett take over. We all know Wade is gone even if he was successful.

I agree, but I actually think we have a better chance of saving the season with him as our defensive coordinator than completely out the door.

To be honest though, this season isn't going to be saved at this point. It's just not.

Phillips never should have been hired. He never had a chance to take this team to the Super Bowl because his teams have a ceiling far short of that goal. Unfortunately, Jerry wasted the prime years of the core group of this team on a coach incapable of accomplishing the ultimate goal.

Unless he gets caught nailing Jerry's wife, Wade will not get fired during the season. Firing a guy during the season NEVER accomplishes anything positive except getting a better draft pick.

I still see this team making the playoffs.

Who are we going to beat to make that happen? We can't even win our home games.

Its hard to argue with you, because though they are 1-3 they were close in all games they lost, some very close, and the legaue this year seems pretty tight. But I think after a point you start seeing the trend. If you go back and look at the years we were 5-11, a lot of those losses were just by a few points, ie. we were a few plays away from being 11-5 but thats the way it is, its just a few plays that separate the top from the middle most of the time. This current team seems to be missing those few plays.

Wade should be fired today. Give Garrett a chance, he does not deserve much of a chance the way he has handled this offense so 3/4 of a season will do just fine. Nothing really changes until Jerry changes or leaves though.

I'm about as big a homer as possible, but I just don't see a scenario where all of the sudden, we're going to stop being dumb and start winning games on a consistent enough basis to get this thing into the playoffs.

I just can't see it.

There isn't a single team on the schedule that I am confident that Dallas can beat.
