When does Wade get canned?

Wade is terrible.....nothing has changed.

His teams have always lacked discipline and attention to detail.

For those advocating a mid-season coaching change, what if Dallas beats Minn? Does this buy Wade more time?

For me, as much as I like Wade's D - except today. You simply can't surrender 34 points at home - I think it's time for Wade the HC, to step down.

My problem is I'm not real thrilled with the prospect of JG taking over and I don't really see anyone from the outside coming in and changing things this season - esp. with the circus a coaching change would cause.

If Jerry was going to make a change he should have done it over the bye week, but (assuming he wanted to) couldn't b/c the Cowboys had just "saved" their season by beating Hou.

So I'm back to my original question - if you want Wade gone now, can you really fire him if the Cowboys beat the Vikes? Or do you basically forfeit the Vikes game - and perhaps more - and fire Wade tonight?

Wade Phillips is not getting fired folks.

Jerry Jones has never fired a Head Coach during the Season.

In fairness, Jerry has never had a team with SB aspirations start the season 1-3 in embarrassing fashion either.

I love Wade as a defensive coordinator, but I would rather avoid the awkwardness of keeping a fired HC on your staff.

Also, I would rather just wipe the slate clean from the last regime. Just my opinion.

Yeah, we don't need any more dsyfunctional dynamics on this team anymore. We already have enough, especially with the offensive coordinator being paid more than the coach and having more authority than the head coach on the field.

How can anyone do worse than what we are doing right now? Not sure how that would be forfieting anything.

That's my problem with the situation.

He's on death row right now. He's like a horse with a broken leg waiting for the reaper to come.

Just get him out the door. Why wait? This team can play, shake things up and make a move in an attempt to save the season.

Agreed completely. I actually think it might happen in the next 24 hours.

I think the players might respond well to the change. They might come out and play with heart for a change.

I don' t think fires him during the season

he will wait

hopefully we get top 15 pick out Wades camp cupcake

For me personally, I don't think a win over MN should buy Wade more time. We've seen how this movie ends, we don't need to wait and watch again.

It's time and it's time to do it right now. Heads need to roll and we need to smooth out the growing pains this season rather than sacrifice next season as well.

I don't see the point of keeping him....the guy just will never figure it out and he has pretty much lost his team.

Add this to the fact the group he coaches is a sieve right now, and it really makes this decision a no-brainer.

This week? After our next loss? Ever?

Discuss.

He won't get canned until after the season because he's the defensive coordinator.

well I think R Herring would do just fine at that - an should be our next DC

and what do you think hes been doing the last three years

but your right Wade will make it thru the year

I think Jerry has the stones

just a bad move -

how many other times has it happened ?

when a HC was fired after 4 or even 8 games into the year in the modern times ?

just asking

I don't know how many, just remember Singletary taking over a 2-5 Niners team and winning more games than he lost the rest of the way.

Great point..:)

I can't imagine things getting any worse.

The defense isn't even playing all that well to say he is needed as the DC.

Get the guy out. He's a dead man walking.
