He did an absolutely horrible developing Simms, thinking he was Bill Parcells or Jimmy Johnson. Gruden is a great coach if you give him an old team like those Raiders were. He had old as dirt Rice and Brown playing like their prime years. And then there was Gannon. He just cant coach young players

Chris Simms had injury issues. He was a third round pick and played well in his third season after developing, but after the 2005 season, he had a severe spleen injury and then complications plagued him in 2006. Even the best coaches need talent they can work with, and more importantly, a player that is available.

I also thought Carr got better under Gruden after taking a step back in 2017.

Man. From Al's hair to that? That's tough to look at

I'm not the prettiest coat on the rack but you gotta admit that
genetically the guy drew the short straw in the looks department.

Accurate.

Plus, Gruden seems to base too much of his personnel decisions on emotion or like/dislike or something like that. Dumped Mack, overdrafted Ruggs and Ferrell and Abram. And that's only the ones I'm aware of. I'm not a Raiders fan so their moves only get a passing glance.

If he wins a lawsuit against the NFL, guess who's money he will be taking. The owners.

They'll shun him even more than they already do. He's done.
I hope so. I never want to see him coaching again and definitely don't want him coaching our team. No way. I'd rather have Garrett back. The thought of Gruden coaching the Cowboys is disastrous. We already got credibility issues with Jerry and Jerry jr. You put in toxic Gruden in this already toxic culture and it would be a hot mess. No thank you.

Toxic. Good word to describe Gruden. It's not that he doesn't know football, he does, it's that he causes everything to just fall apart w/ his strange ideas and such.

Mack had like one more great season before he started to fall off. How the hell was Ruggs overdrafted? He ended up being a complete freakin' moron, but he had a great 40 time and was projected to be taken in the top 20. And how the hell was Abram overdrafted? He was projected to be a late first round pick, and the Raiders got him at 27.

Do you pay attention to draft projections at all?
