too tall jones

guys my size don't go for the "glammer" positions. you just don't see too many 325lb qb's running around.

I met my Idol, Roger Staubach in the DFW Airport last month, He coundn't have been nicer!.

I always pretended I was Golden Richards. I came to the United States in 1977 when I was 6 years old...some plays he made made a big impression on me. Plus, he was a white guy, I was a white kid. :D

Juke pretended he was Lance Rentzel...

In fact, he still does to this day and, I fear he will again once he is released...

I have a friend who is very funny. Guy weighs upwards of 370 pounds. He was talking to a group of little league baseball players one time about daring to dream. He said the obligatory you can be anything you want to be stuff. Talked about how he wants to be a photographer so he bought a camera and takes pictures therefore he is a photographer. How he wants to be a singer so he bought a guitar and joined his church choir so he is a singer. Then he said this...

"In my mind, I'm a pole vaulter."

I ruined the seriousness of his whole speech at that point. I felt really bad...later.

Oh, and anyone who played Tecmo HAD to pretend to be Bo Jackson, just as anyone playing the early Maddens HAD to pretend to be Barry Sanders.

Tecmo Bowl was great, but do you remember "10 Yard Fight"? :p

Always a Cowboy fan, but I was always number 89 Otis Taylor as a kid, and kept that number from YMCA six man, all the way through my freshman year in college. That guy was ahead of his time......

Does your wife know about this? ;)

:D Yea, ... O.J. was O.K. back then.

When we had been married for about 5 mos., we named our first puppy O.J.

He ended up slitting the cats throat so we got rid of him.
