Too early still... I think the guy has a chance to be #1, but without a super bowl he will be viewed similarly to Romo instead of the Aikman/Staubach tier.
IM just curious if you dont mind me asking, but how old are you?
IM sorry, but for my Money, Roger is in the top 5 QBs to ever play. I would have loved to see what he would have done if he played in this era. The year he retired he led the NFL in passing. He retired after what would be a very short career by todays standards. Why? Because he got the hell beat out of him every weekend back when defenses could literally pound you into the turf on every play. Brady gets to play in todays era of not touching a QB in addition to WRs NEVER getting hit when they come over the middle.
Staubach was the greatest 2 minute drill QB of my lifetime. Today when we are down within 2 minutes and get the ball, IM just hoping we can pull it off. With Roger, it was in the bag... or at least it seemed to be.
I hate to compare todays QBs with the guys from the 70s and 80s. So for me to hear Dak being considered, to have a chance to pass Roger, thats blasphemy to me....lol
