If the Cowboys ran their team like a organization that actually gave their best players opportunity and not just the guy with the highest contract where do you think Pollard would be among the NFLs elite?

He’s far and away the best back on the team and if given the opportunity where does he rank among the top tier guys?

Hard to say.
He sure looks good when given his opportunities, but hard to tell if he could sustain that as a bell cow.
Maybe we should find out

He’s never been a 15+ carry guy in his post HS career. I don’t think he’s a bell cow guy or a 25 touch guy, most guys can’t hold up like that let alone guys that hover around 200 pounds.

Could he be a Kamara-esque guy effectiveness-wise? Probably. But even Kamara has never rushed for 1k yards, but he’s often a 1500ish all purpose yard guy.

Long story short we could get a few seasons of top 6-7ish running back production overall considering passing and rushing yards. But his lack of heavy usage throughout his career makes me wary of giving him too much.

He’s a non-generational RB. So no matter how high he ranks in a given year we have to expect it to only last 2-4 seasons total if given full RB1 touches.

Doesn’t have to be Zeke, but I think Pollard is much more effective at 15-17 touches than trying to make him Cmac in Carolina. If we drafted a stud to pair with Pollard and resigned him to a reasonable deal I’d be pumped.

Probably high enough to be looking for a contract in the top 3 range regardless of where he might actually rank.

Lamar Jackson is the best RB in the league. No question.

After him there's a tier that includes Nick Chubb, Derrick Henry, maybe Jonathan Taylor, Dalvin Cook and Saquon Barkley.

Pollard is in the next tier.

Not a chance in hell there are 14 rbs better than him
Yeah, there is a chance.

Taylor
Henry
Chub
Mixon
Dobbins

Kamara
Aaron Jones
McCaffrey
Montgomery
Swift

Hunt
Harris
Mitchell
Sanders

That wasn't even hard. Maybe Pollard will eventually outplay these guys, who knows.
