The coaches don’t say that either. Jerry says that. You go w Jerry. Lolol. Good job. You nailed it.

Keep on believing that.
Coaches do have the final say.
Jerry is just all talk. And too much of it.

"I am ranked number one. ONE! That means I am the best." Tony Pollard (in Clubber Lang's voice in Rocky III)

Defenses haven't game planned for him yet.

Also because of Kellen Moore's lacking, Pollard is still very much under-developed and under-utilized in the passing game.

Kellen hates RB screens, he's not comfortable, doesn't know and doesn't design or have patience with it.
Very much criticized Kellen he's just now settling for swing passes out of the backfield (ala Malik Davis, Pollard swing passes vs Bears)

If Pollard was with Niners (ala Shanahan) ..or Andy Reid's Chiefs, i really think he'd be awesome with both his run/catch game.

zeke isn’t that high

to each his own.

Though he's never been high elusive, and no longer has his special burst, ZKE still offers much as a big power runner and blitz blocker.
Still so very difficult to stop from goal line.
And he's been extremely durable career wise.
And he's another one where i think Kellen is the wrong OC and scheme for Zeke's current game right now, ..imo.

i'd still like to see more from Travis Etienne Jax and injury prone Swift

Fun stat: Tony Pollard leads the NFL in yards after contact per attempt. Its not really close either. I think the fanbase underestimates how good he is at running through arm tackles.

Fun stat 2: If Tony Pollard got 15 attempts per game every game, he would be 1 shy of 5th in the NFL in rushing attempts. The time of "bell cow" type runners is over. Virtually every team platoons their running backs. Dallas using 2 or Pollard getting a break is the norm, not the exception.

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2022/rushing_advanced.htm

Its funny but when you look league wide what we are realistically looking for is for Zeke to give Pollard about THREE rushing attempts per game. Its not really some massive disparity. Zeke getting about 12 and Pollard 15 would be just fine.

Facts over feelings…

Some people just can’t let go of Zeke being great.

Zeke and Pollard probably are the best running back combo in the NFL. Let’s leave it at that. I think with defense and the improvement of our offensive line our running attack could win playoff games.
maybe top 3

Id put chubb/Hunt first. Possible when healthy swift/ Williams in the mix

This argument would mean something in the 90's today there is what 3 teams TRYING to make 1 back carry it 20+ times every game...how is that working out for them in those seasons? I dont care how you label our 2 backs as long as you keep rotating them to keep them fresh and keep them healthy for the playoffs.

What are the “embellishments?”

He’s posting the numbers while your posting your feelings.

I didn't know he had a hero. If "double his snaps" is not an embellishment, I will stop posting. You must be as clueless as he is if you believe that Zeke has doubled Pollard's snaps this year.
