Dez completely disappeared again

He again fails to control a ball hitting the ground for a TD again..

and at the end of the game he's trying to tell Williams to get out of bounds..

This guy has become all talk and no show anymore.

That's a bad sign for DAK..

With Romo gone he needs leaders out on the field to help him..

not an overpaid cheerleader.

Dez...Dez..you let us down bro...

Game has changed. You can't touch receivers without a flag. Big, slow guys that use muscle more than anything aren't as useful. He's only getting slower. He ain't Julio fast.

Dez's better days are gone and. He isn't a top 10 wr and might not even cracked the top 20 at this point. Yeah, his fans will defend him but he hasn't been relevant for a long time

Wish he'd run his routes as good as he runs his mouth. All talk and no action. Hasn't lived up to the hype...and certainly has not lived up to wearing #88!

Dez's presence is the whole reason Witten and Beasley had the entire middle of the field to themselves.

being asked to run go routes on every play, that's nit his strength.
blame jg stale offense, even if linehan is calling plays its jg playbook

Garrett's offense has lead fans to believe that Dez isn't an elite receiver. How can a guy be productive if you aren't putting him in position to succeed

Dez can't separate from defenders which is why almost every throw to him is contested. His foot injury last season may have have further hindered his ability to separate. It's looking like all he's good for nowadays is jump balls. I'm starting to wonder if his best days haven't come and gone.

Running the one to two routes this system and coaches ask of him. This system and overall talent at WR is not good.

Oh? Please elaborate.

I'm seeing people disappointed in Dez for not pulling down a circus catch in the endzoze as if that was a routine play. If Dez was dropping passes like Beasley then I'd be leading the charge with you in criticizing Dez.

WR are only as good as the QB and the play-calling. The Giants obviously schemed to stop Zeke, cover Dez and let Dak try to beat him (primarily with Witten underneath who isn't a threat to do anything).

Lineman needs to do a better job of getting Dez involved early running slants and over the middle. This isn't a new criticism of Linehan.

He can't get open against mediocre and above CBs unless they make a mistake and he running a predictable and antiquated route tree. He is not an elite WR and not worth his contract. Will be a huge disappointment until he can be released.

Releasing him would be absurd. He is still very tradeable.

Dez's presence is the whole reason Witten and Beasley had the entire middle of the field to themselves.

I long to believe such, god knows I want such. Many times Dez dealt with balls not going his way and a lot had to do with Dak, but these were mostly catchable balls for him. What hurts is he has shown such great presence in fighting for the ball or the back shoulder fade, but today he was a little lack luster. While he may have known what to do unlike T-Will, he just didn't do it tonight. Better luck next week I hope.
