When you start a rookie QB and a rookie RB then your best players have to step up and play their best to offet any rookie lack of production.

Dez didnt do that. Our All Pro WR didnt play big today.

How much isr do we have for WR whose most camous plays are the ones he didnt catch.

Two fingers out of bounds, no catch, bobble the ball out of bounds.....five passes his way and he only gets one.

The great players play great on big games. Dez is often MIA.

Think I saw him on the sidelines sulking multiple times.

Not sure I get your point. Who's talking about Roy Williams? I don't think Dez is smart enough to run any different routes than his basic set. In his 5 or 6 years he doesn't move to any other receiver spots, be a slant receiver, or do anything besides his basic comeback route or long ball or jump ball. So I don't know if he doesn't know the play book or what but it would be nice to see him do something less predictable.

I'm not sure if Roy Williams has brains or not but he doesn't seem relevant in this discussion. What's relevant is can Dez run a slant? Next time I go to Walmart I'll ask Roy when I'm checking out what he scored on the SAT's and ACT's and I'll get back to you on his intelligence level.

I'm assuming his contract keeps him a cowboy for a few more years at which point everyone will be looking forward to him being gone.
WR has been a haunting position for us since Irvin left.

Jerrah has tried the trade with Seattle for 2 #1s for their WR who's name I have forgot he was so good..

another #1 with Detroit for their WR Roy Williams

and now another #1 for Dez that many teams passed on before he dropped to us..

a relative bargain we were told.

And he has had one really good year in 2014 and a barely above average year before that.

That's it folks.

We do not do well at the position and our owner squanders millions with his projects.

It's just become so clear.

Until we get an owner who will hire football coaches to coach and stop the nepotism like with Garrett and others such as Campo, Gailey and Philips..the good OL' Boys..

we will never again see success in Dallas.

I stick with this team because it's part of my childhood from the 60's and 70's..

But since Jerrah took over its become a very different animal.

And not a good animal.

It's sort of ugly and reminds me of a nightmare anymore.

Got to watch the Texans more. They play football without all the flash and marketing promises.

A lot of it has to do with the offense. It has nothing to do with his lack of speed. Plenty of "slower" receivers have put up big numbers in this league. Larry Fitzgerald has never been a burner and even at this stage of his career he still had over 100 catches last year.

The problem is the unimaginative offense.

Dez is a red zone threat. Between the 20s, he's very average. I was always one to want to keep Murray and either franchise Dez for 2 years or just move on. We don't need him to succeed. Too many times he disappears. He's definitely not on the level of Brown, Green, Jones, ODB on how they impact the game. Forget the stats. Dez will give you stats on paper. But it's how he impacts the game when you watch.

But the coaching staff is a lot to blame. They are downright terrible.
