I am very negative on the guy. Elite athlete for sure but he has nothing between the ears. Folds every time he faces adversity. Before the game he was telling everyone he was a leader and ready to go parabolic. After the game he defended Zimmerman but spouted the same tired talking points of we’ll get em next time. It’s only 2 games into the season and I don’t like what I see out of him. Too one dimensional and not nearly long enough to play against NFL tackles every snap. I keep hearing they are going to move him around. I haven’t seen it. There is no way I would pay this guy.

What do you all think???

Myles Garrett and Micah are the 2 best defensive players in the league.

That’s where I’m at.

He talks too much, was anointed too early, and is a ME player first. Not a Team player.

He does seem to be a 1 trick pony. I wish they would have traded him during the off-season to get the most out of him. If they trade after this season, it will be a 3rd year of him coming up short late in the season and more tape on how to keep him mediocre during games. We won't get a 2nd round for him.

But I know the cowboys homers and Jerry. Y'all ready to give him max contract!!

Your lack of knowledge about defensive schemes is telling. The Saints schemed Parsons out of the game and Zimmer had no answer. Parsons is one of the best players in the NFL. The fact you don’t get that is very telling.
The fact he keeps getting schemes out of games is telling. The best players don't get schemed out of games on a regular basis.

Micah has his warts but he is one of the best defensive players in the league and the cowboys defense would be one of the worst in the league without him.

So go ahead and wish for the cowboys to move on. Just be careful what you wish for when the defense falls apart completely.
True, Micah is among the best defencive players around.
No one disputes tha, old boy.
What many are becoming increasingly uncomfortable with is the projected monies he wants in 2025.
Based on his production since January, he deserves quail money, not oil money.

He doesn’t keep getting schemed out of games. Look at week one.
Look at Sunday's sleepwalking by Micah.
(Sorry, me handsome Rocky, for calling you out after Dak's humiliation. You were enough of a wreck without me telling you something all fans know about Dak.)
You remain a good sport, chap.

He's given too much credit for being great. He's been anointed since his rookie year as this great players. Great players take over games, great players get guys in line to play hard, not just talk. He's overrated, and I feel bad talking bad about him because of us being from the same location. It is what it is, he's too hyped for my liking. Looking around the league at other pass rushers, and comparing him to what he does, it's not the same i'm sorry! He'll make a play or 2 and that's it!
Last year he logged in at .82 sacks per game.
So far this season he has .50 sacks per game.
...
Nothing to celebrate on the tele or at the lawn bowling mixer but enough to whet Jerald's appetite to overpay.

You sound like Stephen Jones. But you forgot to mention slices of pie

Really. So his penchant for coming up small in big games and late in the season is scheme? Additionally great players adjust and blow up schemes. Your lack of knowledge of NFL history is telling because you would remember LT and Reggie White and Ray Lewis literally blowing up schemes. Parsons gets rag dolled by LTs because he is too small and has zero leverage to take them on 60/70 snaps a game. Stop being such an insufferable homer.

Garrett > Parsons. 99.99 pct of Football FO guys would make a Garrett for Parsons trade in a second.

Parsons knows what is gonna butter his bread. Sacks. He is gonna get enough of them to become the highest paid defensive player in history. What comes after that? Probably nothing much good.

so defending his coach is something you'd hold against him? and playing snaps in 8 diff locations week one isn't moving him around? you could have just stopped after the first sentence.

It’s not at all it is just more of the same…excuses. That loss was nearly identical to the GB game. If you think Parsons is great and a keeper then I don’t know what to say. Have a great day.

I saw multiple times where he was stonewalled by a RB or TE one on one.

He is a very good player. But IMO, he is not on the level of a TJ watt or miles Garrett. He is terrible against the run and good offensive coordinators abuse him
kamara stood him up. i was shocked.
