Where is everyone on Micah Parsons?

Right….he can be schemed out of games when the other team can run up the gut at will.

Jerry and son don’t want to pay for the DT position. They aren’t stars and they don’t sell jerseys. Their refusal to fix the problems that are clear and obvious to even fans leads me to believe that they have no idea what they are doing.

I mean, how do you have GB happen then do nothing to fix the DL, except lose depth?

I don’t claim to be some expert, but have been saying all off-season that I don’t see how they are going to stop the run. I was shocked at what happened in Cleveland.

It’s a strange league and they will win some games as long as NY and Wash continue to be even worse, but there’s no way this culminates in playoff success….although if it takes an awful season to finally wake them up (it won’t), sign me up.
Eagles added Barkley specifically to attack our run D.

To be a bit fair to him, he does need help. Our Dline is pathetic. Having some good players along there would help.

With that said, I'd be wary of paying him a huge payday. I'd definitely take some calls about trading him and at least pick up the receiver and listen.

It’s the way he is used. The first series he was flying to the ball. After that he rushed the qb. He watched the play go by him. He needs to play the ball more. Would help stop the run. Several times if he was playing the ball then he would have stuff the play behind the line..

If he is so good - fast and so athletic was does he need to cheat? Why can't he read the play and adjust?

Why does he act like it is 3rd and 15 90% of the time.

A typical Cowboys player. All talk but wilts when any adversity hits. He's undersized at his position. Can't hold up to the wear and tear that happens to DL over time. Has been a no-show in every single playoff game. Great talent but that's about it. Does not perform when it matters most. By some accounts, he's not extremely popular in the locker room, either.

He's the definition of a one trick pony. That pony looks great when it works but too often, the OL and coaching know how to limit him. He racks up his stats in bunches against weak offenses. And most of these games are blowouts, so he can just rear back and attack the QB. He can't play the run. He can't really read anything and make adjustments. As you said, he pins his ears back and guns after the QB. So often, he is out of position and leaves gaping holes for the QB to step up in or take off for a big gain. It seems very OL to take him out of the game.

Parsons disappears when we need him most.

Parsons is overrated. Nick Bosa and Myles Garrett are better. Even Aidan Hutchinson who had 4.5 sacks yesterday looks better. Parsons is undersized and doesn’t have the stamina to do everything we’re doing with him.

What help does Hutchinson have on the dline?

He is put on the field to do what Zimmer tells him to do. First quarter he was playing the ball and the refs had to help them to get the score.

No, and I’m not trying to defend Parsons, but I am trying to be fair.

How is an elite rusher supposed to fix what was going on yesterday? Everyone else was getting trucked in the run game.

NO was nearly never forced into must pass situations because they were consistently winning first and second down.

It’s going to limit Parsons effectiveness.

Hey, this is a big part of why they are front runners, but until management gets it through their heads that DT is a vital position, this will continue against the better teams.
totally agree sir

can't play the ball when all he's trying to do is sack the QB every play isn't a pass play, but for some reason he thinks it is

Are you my clone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????? I've been saying that for the last 2 years!!!!!! He runs right up the field, and the team runs right past him, he thinks every play is a pass

Parsons was so bad yesterday he was being neutralized by tight ends.

I think Parsons could be great. But there is no one on this team to take the pressure off him. This was obvious last year, but last year was actually better than this year.

The Cowboys think they can win with 4 maybe 5 Super Stars and then 17 or 18 JAGs. That is not going to happen. Parsons could be a great player if there was 1 or two other guys on that DL that could get some attention from the opposing offensive lines. I have been saying this for a long time. If the DL cannot keep the LBs clean, the defense will fail. That's what we saw yesterday and we will see if over and over all year.

I don't know what it is going to take to open eyes, but I think when Washington beats Dallas maybe that might do it?

I see where you're going with this, and I'm not giving him excuses, but it sure wouldn't hurt to have some better talent along the Dline.
True but don't talk to me about how you and Garrett are the best and you want to be the highest paid but then give excuses. He's such a typical Cowboy

If you said it two years ago I would’ve bashed you. I don’t know if I’ve seen a game where he was more ineffective than he was yesterday. He doesn’t look like the player he was when he first came out. Opponents didn’t know how to handle him but now they have him figured out. He’s only had one sack in the first two games. He had three after two games last season. He already looks worn down.
