If you said it two years ago I would’ve bashed you. I don’t know if I’ve seen a game where he was more ineffective than he was yesterday. He doesn’t look like the player he was when he first came out. Opponents didn’t know how to handle him but now they have him figured out. He’s only had one sack in the first two games. He had three after two games last season. He already looks worn down.
isn't that something already looks worn out after 2 games geez, maybe he needs to play Safety, or hell go back to his glory days at our high school and play RB

He works his mouth so much on social media and posting silly videos could be why he’s already worn down.

Parsons is the exemplar of a lazy, self-centered, entitled, narcissistic, dysfunctional culture that's infected and putrified this team from top to bottom in recent years. I'd trade him in a heartbeat for all he may be worth, with the reptilian zeal & enthusiasm of a carpetbagger hawking miracle elixir.

He's the next one in line who will be demanding to be the highest paid ever at his position. The least he can do is try to earn it. I don't recall his name being called a single time yesterday. But I admit I started yard work early in the 3rd quarter. Mowing the yard was more entertaining than watching the Dallas D get torched as bad as they did.
You did yourself a favor.

And for all the lies about micah being double teamed. Who double teamed him on the first td to Shaheed? Mr I can't be blocked 1 on 1

I saw multiple times where he was stonewalled by a RB or TE one on one.

He is a very good player. But IMO, he is not on the level of a TJ watt or miles Garrett. He is terrible against the run and good offensive coordinators abuse him
Micah is never going to lose to a TE or RB on a six step drop.

Part of scheming him out of the game is a quick release in the opposite flat or a screen.

All I’m saying is that great players need some sort of supporting cast to do their thing.

Ray Lewis showed up to make sure the teams first round selection was going to be Haloti Ngata no matter what happened. One does the dirty work, the other becomes a household name. Jerry and son don’t want to pay for dirty work, so we will continue to see games like yesterday against better teams, and it’s right there on film for the bad ones.

can't play the ball when all he's trying to do is sack the QB every play isn't a pass play, but for some reason he thinks it is
Not sure if he is given the rope to free lance or if he is told to get the qb. But why do that on a run play. I watched at least 3 plays where he started up field and stopped when he watched the ball get handed off and ran past him. He was not blocked. They let him go and ran past him. If he sniffed out the run and went after the ball then it would have been stopped for a loss or no gain.

As I posted earlier after seeing him up close, I realized he's just too small to be on the line. Players get their hands-on him he's goigoing backwards.
We had our chance to trade him this past offseason. And we should have taken it. You could have gotten a couple number ones.
However, I have a feeling after this season his trade value will drop a bit.
Zimmer is going to put his foot down and demand things be done his way, and some of these guys aren't going to like it.
Stay tuned.

This, why he isn’t at LB, I will never know.

Major liability vs the runat DE. Since the LBs suck I'd try have at LB unless it's an obvious pass situation then I'd move him around to get after the QB. Micah needs to flow to the ball vs run, not hold the Edge.

Why, what in the world you really just ruined my entire day. Let's say (I don't want this to happen) he gets injured and a backup is playing well, he's going right back in? There will be no romo story, or Dak story to be our next QB of the future??? lol
We can still trade him , in theory, if he agrees to it. But I can’t imagine another team dumb enough to trade for Daks ludicrous contract.

He can’t hold the edge which is why teams run at him. His natural position is OLB. That’s where he should be but we had a bad offseason losing 2 DE’s and replacing them with a rookie. Then the Sam Williams injury and Micah has to play DE full time.

Eagles added Barkley specifically to attack our run D.
Or they came to the conclusion Hurts isn’t quite the “superstar’ they anticipated. Not all $50 million+ per season QBs are great. I think Hurts is in the “not great, but paid a lot” category.

The problem with Parsons is the Cowboys were so amazed at his pass rushing ability that they let run around and do what he wants. He should of been locked and loaded at MLB waiting to blow up Kamara. Instead the saints waited for him to over pursue the play and get caught up in the wash. Same thing happened in the GB game. The whole defense is full of low IQ players. They get fooled easy. Listen to Parsons and Lawrence talk and than listen to Fred Warner and Bosa talk. You tell me who sounds educated.

Facts. Maybe Carl Lawson has something left in the tank, it's worth a look if Zim has to resort to Wheat.

But this may have the same effect that it had on us in 2016. Have a great back to take the load off less pressure on the QB and feed SB. We didn’t get the memo this offseason for some reason.

I honestly think we've seen the best of Micah Parsons already. When he was the humble lion- he was awesome.

Now he's all extra off the field, and diminishing returns on it. I'd be looking to deal him for a draft haul.

I am very negative on the guy. Elite athlete for sure but he has nothing between the ears. Folds every time he faces adversity. Before the game he was telling everyone he was a leader and ready to go parabolic. After the game he defended Zimmerman but spouted the same tired talking points of we’ll get em next time. It’s only 2 games into the season and I don’t like what I see out of him. Too one dimensional and not nearly long enough to play against NFL tackles every snap. I keep hearing they are going to move him around. I haven’t seen it. There is no way I would pay this guy.

What do you all think???
Your lack of knowledge about defensive schemes is telling. The Saints schemed Parsons out of the game and Zimmer had no answer. Parsons is one of the best players in the NFL. The fact you don’t get that is very telling.

He is the perfect trade bait. You never know what you can get until you try and you can always just pay him after the second franchise tag.
