Where is the tangible proof Dak is a good leader?

One of the few who have been right there with you since he was drafted. You don’t learn how to be a leader and you can’t develop elite skills if you don’t possess them. Dak is what he is, a serviceable nfl qb who sits right above the median line.
You’re supporting the guy who thinks Carson Wentz is still a Super Bowl quarterback

Where is the on-the-field proof? I don’t care about butt slaps and attaboys.

Does he perform in there clutch? No. Does he ever put the team on his back and carry them to victory? No. Does his leadership translate to a disciplined well-oiled offense? No. Does he show up in big games, playoff games. No.

Where is the proof?! *Avon Barksdale voice*

Dak is nothing more than a big athlete that can throw a football. I guess all this "great leader" stuff comes from his teammates because that is what a team does, they don't throw their QB under the bus like their QB does. Dak is playing a QB on TV that is about it.

Like Parcells said, you are what you are after three years, and Coach Jimmy said that Dak can win but everyone around him has to be just right or he will never succeed. However, what did anyone expect from a small school 4th round QB that actually fell in to a pile of crap and came out smelling like roses. Had Romo not been beat all to hell with the teams he tried to lead and if Kellen had not got hurt Dak probably never gets the starting job.

When Dak finally got his chance he had a damn good team and won a lot of games, but it was all a mirage and JJ after drinking himself silly thought he had the QB of his drunken state of mind and gave him the bank, bent over and let Dak take advantage of him with out Vaseline.

Dak is just a big athlete that can throw the ball, sometime to his receivers and lots of time in critical moments to the opposition.

And you flop like a fish out of water. A while back you were saying Dak will never win the Boyz a SB, then after someone points out his flaws you get all riled up. You and KoKo can dance with the best of them.

I will say it again....for the blithering clueless:

Speaking of facts, consider this one: Tony “the choke artist” Romo has 13 fourth quarter comebacks and 14 game-winning drives. Romo also holds a 104.4 passer rating in the fourth quarter, a 99.8 passer rating when in the fourth within seven points, and a 116.7 rating in overtime.
And remind me how many divisional playoff wins Romo has. [INSERT BLAMING THE REFS HERE]

So

And yet Romo was invited to put on a full Mavs uniform and sit with the team during a real game as the "12th man". And yet Romo was given the key to the city? Will Dak be honored in these ways like Romo when they produce the same subpar results? I think you know the answer.
This is completely different from your statement that Romo never received the same level of hate that Dak has, but I might as well humor you.

While Romo didn't have much team success, he still reached a level at QB that Dak won't. I eagerly await seeing Dak lead the NFL in passer rating, completion %, and yards per attempt in the same season when there are 5 other hall of famers right behind him.

As for the accolades, I don't know about a key to the city, but it's possible Dak could get an end of the bench role for the Mavs if the same factors align like they did for Romo.

How many has Dak won?

Team game or...not?

Only when it's convenient for your agenda...right?

That stats show...you Romo haters... are wrong. It's very simple. But your fragile little baby girl ego can;t handle that.

I did not say he was a bad QB and did not say what you just posted.
Stop making stuff up.
So clarify it for me. It shouldn;t take too much effort.

The fact that you think Dak's deep ball is BETTER than Romo's...if only Moore would give him the chance...is crazy. That's some hatin right there. Tony has better long ball stats and VERY FEW 1st round WR's.

Then you say this: "Fans need to stop acting like Tony was some great QB."

1st off...HOW DARE Dallas Cowboys think Romo was a great QB. The nerve. Thank god we have you to set us straight.

The corollary is that there must be some that think he sucks. Do you defend him then? I don;t know...it's a question you can just answer to yourself.

Romo has VERY good numbers among MANY ...GREAT.... QB's. Easily top 5 of his day.

Dak has a few more seasons to gain comparable playing time. I'm hoping he can catch up and do some damage here. The trend...isn;t that good. He's trending backward.

Dak had 5 4th quarter comebacks in 2016. He's had ....5...since.

Yes...it is truly a team game. Of course. But QB's do live on an island....credit and blame. Fair or not fair. We should do our BEST to keep it consistent and level. All to often there's an agenda.

Like "Romo was a choker". Not saying you said that...but you know it's his legacy. And totally not true.

I’ve had the same opinion about Dak since he was drafted. Posted about it all the way back then and countless other times. I really don’t care about Wentz and don’t need to compare the two but will for you in this case. Wentz had a couple of good years but it was Foles who put that team on his back in the playoffs. Do they get there without Wentz that year, nope. Dak had a very good rookie year on the heels of a highly efficient run game and everything around him falling into place. Since then I feel Dak has been better than Wentz who is nothing more than another top QB who has fallen off a cliff. I’d rather have Dak even though I can’t stand him. With that I wish the boys would have gotten their man Conner Cook or Paxton Lynch. Only because this organization may actually be closer to winning games that matter again vs being stuck in this overhyped dead organization it has become. I’ve been a fan for almost 45 years now and it’s just my opinion when it comes to Dak. I agree with @Risen Star as it relates to Dak but when it comes to Wentz I respect his opinion I just don’t agree with it. Do you honestly believe he is still this passionate about Wentz still? The butcher loves football and I’m sure he has observed the Wentz meltdown the past few years. Anyway it’s just how I feel bud, doesn’t mean I am a hater or hate the team. I just hate what this once proud organization was and can’t see Dak leading them to the Lombardi 7 years ago, this year, or any year forthcoming. If I’m wrong I will gladly eat some crow. I just don’t see it happening with him. Have a good evening.

Dak's hate generation is derived from the fact that he is so positive and says all the right things and does actually have the best attItude, but it doesn't translate to great performance on the field regardless of the competition for one of the most storied franchises in sports. And we have been waiting too long

It is time for a Shaun McVay to trade our Jared Goff for a Matthew Stafford.

Dak played like Romo yesterday, but Romo never got this level of hate. Go figure.

How is dementia treating you? Because you must have it to have forgotten the level of hate Romo got through the years. Romo got the same level of hate as Dak gets. The only difference is that who is dishing it out is a little different.

And I still believe that. That doesn’t mean I’m gonna let people slam him when he doesn’t deserve it , when it’s not his fault. Yes we need a franchise quarterback. Don’t be so tunnel vision
