This. Hes a FS. Ramsey will play the SS.

Said Mayock on NFL Network's Path to the Draft: "Whoever drafts him, I believe, is going to start him out at corner. ... I don't think the label matters, he's an incredibly talented kid."

"I think most teams would like to believe he's a corner because there's more value attached to that. Could he be Patrick Peterson, for instance? He's got length, he's got world-class speed. Even when he gets beat off the line of scrimmage in press coverage, it's amazing to see his catch-up speed. It's like beep, beep and he's there. That's on the positive side," Mayock said.

I'd love that to death, we would have perhaps the best S tandem in the NFL, when almost every team has at least a bad one or at best an average one. Won't happen though the way the Cowboys think is one has to be a CB out of the two,
Next year one will move to cb, not this year.

Mayock knows as much as we do

If he's willing to spend the time like Lee does, studying teams tendencies, I think with his athletic ability he can do the most damage at FS

The Cowboys have had the opportunity to witness and study the performances of Byron Jones at both CB and safety during practices and games. In other words, they have seen infinitely more of him than anyone on this website or anywhere else. That being the case, they've arrived at the conclusion that he's far better suited to play safety than at CB. By now, I'm reasonably willing to surrender what little I'm guessing about him and grant that they're probably in the know about their conclusions. Seeing as how their coaches are certainly more experienced than myself in such matters, I see no reason to conclude they're merely lame knuckleheads who can't decipher a safety from a CB -- make any sense?

What's wrong with having 2 gifted DBs able to position flex if need be? The team likes DL to have position flex. So too with DBs. I definitely would of liked a big time pass rusher at #4. But the team doesn't view Bosa as one.
