Are they doing the game live?

Sort of. NFL Network cuts in one hour late to live coverage(11 p.m. eastern time), so most of the first half will be over. My TV listings here have an episode of "The Football Life" on at kickoff hour. Why can't they just show the start of the game?

Just an FYI...

If you're going to DVR it on the NFL Network, make sure you DVR the 4AM telecast otherwise you'll miss the first hour of the game.

Maybe the stream quality will be so high I won't need to order NFL Sunday ticket. Idiots.

Skipping.. The 11PM telecast only runs for 2 hours. The 4AM runs for 3.

It sort of sucks. I have had NFL Sunday ticket for around 10 years. In the past, I have bought the preseason pass via the App. I didn't this year because the first two games were live (and I couldn't watch them live anyway). I was really looking forward to putting the kids to bed tonight and watching the game live. I know it is only $10 or so bucks for the preseason app, but I think I am just going to hold off and watch it Friday night on DVR.

NFLN is showing the game live, but they don't start airing it until an hour after it starts

I believe its due to NBC airing the ATL/MIA game nationally starting at 8PMET. I dont think NFLN can begin their live broadcast until the NBC game is over.

I recently rewatched SB27 and screamed when Michael Irvin caught a pass and turned into the end zone. It then dawned on me that the game isn't live!
