For me @ 13-3 with HF adv throughout - Sloppy penalties , Crayton drops , cabotroversy - springboarding Eli Manning into SB run an mvp is something I'll never forget or forgive .
It crippled this chise until now.

The GB loss stings badly because GB was beatable and imo we kept Romo locked down, however we lost to a HOF QB who lit us up with rockets.

Ironically enough.. Being that the patriots are always in the mix ... I think we lose either time.

Both stung. But this one more.... A balanced offense, running game through playoffs was our best shot!

I have to say I am dealing with this better than the game vs NY. I see a lot more promise with how this team is being built than I did then. I see a much brighter future ahead for this team.

Cabo because it seemed that was their last real shot. This current team seems to have 1 or 2 more in them and they are younger and hungrier.

That Giants loss was surprising but not shocking to me. It was a divisional opponent. But at that time, I thought we were the best team in football and Romomania was in full-swing.

But this one. I will never forget this one. We got robbed. I think we score, then I think we either hold GB to a FG and go into OT to win it, or win it righ there on the nest drive,

that was our game. We had control of it, most of the way. This team was on a path of destiny.

then it all got taken away because a replay official decided to take away a catch. In his "Judgement" Dez didnt catch the ball.....in HIS judgement,.

the rest of the world thinks otherwise....

this one is going to stick with me forever,.,..

Lambo. There was something "special" about this team, this year.

I believe that if Dez catches that ball, something special would have happened on defense. Yes, Rodgers was good the 2nd half of the game. But, the defense made big plays many times this year late in games. Shoot, Crawford almost swatted the pass to Cobb.

With Dez's catch, momentum changes and anything can happen. Unfortunately, our special moment, and year, was stolen on a judgmental technicality.

Lambo easy!! This team is full of vets, and young hungry guys. Offensively, We are as good as anyone in the NFL. Defensively, I think we weren't that good, but coached up enough to win it all...this hurts more, because it was right in our hands, we didnt take it, and then it got taken..

.It's like the kid who waited all day for the ice cream cone, only to walk out of the store and half of it falls on the ground, then out of nowhere a dog jumps up and still the rest of the cone right out of his hands.

This one. I saw a formula for how this team can beat anyone. I also saw a QB with not a lot of time left. You don't get that opportunity every year. They may not get back with this QB again.

I'd have much preferred getting beaten cleanly by the Packers than to have the officials decide it at the end.

It never ceases to amaze me how often the 2007 divisional game gets mentioned here and Jacquez Reeves transformation into Eli Manning's ***** (leading to a Giants' touchdown shortly before the half) gets excluded.

The Giants game because beating New York at home did not seem to be as big of a task as beating Green Bay at Lambeau even with Rodgers limping. I felt like we caused our defeat against New York, while we had possibly had victory snatched from us against Green Bay (although there are some things we did, such as Murray's fumble, that also led to our defeat).

Jacques Reeves was horrible all season. It wasn't something that started in that game.

???

So... because Reeves was horrible during the season makes his inability to cover during a critical game, which could have led to a minimum of four points being subtracted from the Giants' score, is... a nonfactor?

This team was better, more equipped to win. The defense in 2007 was probably slightly better than this one, although the 2014 defense's effort was outstanding. You could say the 2007 offense was more explosive, but the 2014 offense was more stable, more capable of winning any type of contest.

The coaching, while not great this past Sunday, was better overall this season imo. This one hurt more to me. This team seemed close, special. Any team with TO, probably isn't close knit.

If you watched him be horrible all season, it shouldn't have been a surprise he was horrible.

Sunday's loss hurt more.

Romo wasn't 35 going on 40 with a bad back in 2007

Right,

And after the loss in 07, I figured we would be right back the next year and the next. Right in the thick of things, battling out for Playoffs and NFCCG.
So, I didnt really worry all that much.

Boy was I wrong!

Now, imagine if its another , 8 , 9 years before we have a "legitimate" shot again??

Imagine how much this BS #$%$^%$&%^&%^&*^ judgement call, will mean?
