Which position scares you the most on this current roster?

If they are 15th in pressure that’s not dominant but it’s sure an improvement over 30th.
Where were they ranked 30th?

I never said dominant or top 10.
I never said you did. No Strawman arguments.

I’m just saying be able to generate pressure. I don’t feel they did when they traded Micah.
I don’t think they did anything well in Eberflus’ defense.

didn't Clowney produce 8.5 sacks for us in '25 ?
Yes.

Clowney was our best rusher AND run defender as an outside player. And by far. That didnt mean he was good which wasnt a good sign for the rest of our squad.

I honestly don’t think sacks are going to be a huge priority for Parker’s defense.

They weren’t in Philadelphia last year with Fangio. They’re a ‘nice to have’, but not a must have.

The Eagles were middle-of-the-pack in terms of sacks, with their sack leader having just 6.5 for the season.

But their secondary was #8 overall, and they allowed the 5th fewest points in the league.

Today’s best defenses are fundamentally sound, with players know their roles and assignments in all areas, rather than being overly reliant on any one player or group.

I think that’s what Parker is trying to build.
Inside pressure is much more important than sacks. Eagles were stacked at DT, that's how they won the super bowl.

Gary was a stud. Gary for whatever reason didn’t look like a stud last year. And the fact he was gonna get cut signals what he is or what they thought he was. I think Eze is the key because of the untapped potential and his ceiling being a 10 sack guy. Whatever we get from Gary is bonus. Right now we have Gary and a bunch of guys who have never done it.
That's the mantra on here, but the truth is Gary was his ultra solid self. It appears way too many people are rating him purely on sacks, and he's not a big sack guy. He's Tony Tolbert.

Where’s the statistical evidence for this?
Watching super bowl winners in general. I can't even think of the last super bowl winner that didn't collapse the pocket.

Manalive, did you watch the super bowl? Those DTs were in Mahomes's face at the snap. I'm pretty sure you already know there's no real way to measure this. The DTs collapse the pocket, the edges get the sacks and the DBs get the picks. Always been that way.

A huge part of NE even making the super bowl was Milton Williams. Gotta have the beasts up front, which affects the D at every level.

Gary is not a pass rusher. He is a run defender who can rush also.

And he profited from the talent around him im GB. I am really curious what he will show here in Dallas.
Since he's been ultra solid from the start, not sure why anyone would think he'd be otherwise.

Admittedly I only saw about 4 Packers games last year….couldnt even tell he played…..

When you look at all the pass rushers signed this offseason, Gary had the most career sacks of all of them. No, he isn't an elite pass rusher, but it is far to expect at 8 sack plus type of season.
Oh if he gets 8 sacks I’ll take it.

So, none then. Ok.
