Which QBs would you rather have instead of Tony Romo?

Rivers is a darn good QB. I really like him coming out of College.

But MAN he is so overrated at this level..

People even have him top 5.

The only way anyone would take Rivers over Romo if you have watched both of them play is if you absolutely HATE Tony Romo.

How is he overrated? The dude tears defenses up. He had no running game last year and still tore it up.

he's a ***** though

How? Because he punkd Cutler? Cutler is a litte preppy ***** that thinks he's hard. Rivers doesn't play around and backs up his talk.

I bash ROMO ALOT but I said I would give him one more year to prove himself. There is no question He can play at a high level, He just needs to show that clutch killer instinct.

So with that said I wouldnt take any qb over Romo..Even though I think there are several Qbs better then him.

Did this make sense in your head before you typed it out?

Rivers over Romo??? Not a chance! I still don't see why everybody thinks he's that good. He was good in college, but his consistency in the NFL is suspect.

Try watching him play once in a while, you might understand why people think he's all that.

You must not have seen him play much last year because all he did was lead the league in: TD passes, TD%, Yards per attempt, and passer rating.

Including the playoffs, he had 11 games of over 100 passer rating last season! One of those was in the playoff game against the eventual SB champ Stealers.

He was just better than 3-1 in TD-INT ratio (34-11) but only had 5 300+ yard games. That means he is efficient and isn't simply putting up big numbers because he throws the ball a lot (like Brees).

The draft morons dogged him because of his throwing motion and they stated that he could not succeed in the NFL with it and the mediots have simply bought into that and others have bought into their opinions. The FACTS are that he has been very consistent and consistently good at that.

Since he has been the starter in San Diego he has been very good and last year, even though the team struggled, he was great! 2007 was his only "down" year so far and that wasn't bad by any measure.

thats not entirely accurate .....Brees is a turnover machine as well.....

He throws a lot of INTs because he throws a LOT of passes but he only lost one fumble last year.

I have seen him play. In person in college actually. They played TxTech twice. They both went to the wire with one game ending 51-50. I loved him in college and thinks he's a darn good qb, but still overrated. But to put him in front of Romo...NO WAY! That's not a homerism...that's just fact.

I'm pretty sure that at least a dozen other QBs would do as well as Ben in Pittsburgh. He did have a great SuperBowl, but for the most part he is the bus driver there and he D carries the team.

I don't know of anyone older I would take or anyone younger besides Matt Ryan. So, I guess Matt Ryan.

Didn't he have one of the best seasons in the history of the league last year?

He's pretty good.

It helps he has had Norv Turner and his system.

I never wanted Turner here, but in retrospect, I'd rather have had Turner and Rivera than Phillips and Garrett.

QBs I'd rather have:
1. Brady
2. Manning
3. Rivers
4. Roethlisberger

That's it.

Brady, Either Manning, Rivers, Palmer, Ryan, Cutler are the only ones I'd take.

I want a QB with a cannon not a pea shooter.
