Which team could you live with...

It will not surprise me in the least if my son likes the Panthers, since they are the local team. I've promised to take him next year and he is crazy excited to go. I'm more interested in seeing that wild-eyed look on his face than I am about if he likes the Cowboys or not. As long as he is happy then his old man will be as well.

Since all of my kids are Cowboys fans, I feel that I raised them correctly. :)

Good, I'm glad, .. but if he chooses a different team some day, you have no say in that.

I don't really even have a concern about it.

My son (and myself for that matter) root for Sooners in the NFL. As a result, we watched the Vikings with interest this year due to AD.

But when it came time to play them in the Playoffs, I detected ZERO residual affection for them in my son. It was "Vikings are the enemy" and that is that. :D

Recently, he was saying that he hopes that the Skins don't draft Bradford, because that would mean he'd have to hate Bradford from here on out. :p:

Impossible. My sons are already fans. Their first words are Cowboys or “Cowbies”. They may not be able to wipe their butt but they can recognize the Dallas star. Children can be brainwashed at a young age.

That said, i could live with any of them being Houston Texan fans. Maybe take their old man to some games.

Here is a twist to the question. Your son grows up playing football goes to college and plays football and is drafted by the Commanders do you pull for the skins? :D

I raised my son right. He is 16 and a huge Cowboy fan. I never really tried to make him a fan however it sort of caught on because Sundays have always meant church day and Cowboys day to me so he always has watched the games with me.

Ouch that would hurt. I guess I would have to root for him but I just don't think I could do it when they play the Boys.

Try being the Staal parents, of the NHL. Three son's in the pros, one more on the way. Two are on the most heated rival teams in the NHL. Marc Staal
a NY Rangers defenseman playing in critical games against his brother Jordan a forward on the Penguins.

I can honestly say, that would have been my worst nightmare.

Thank you, Captain Obvious. But I'm pretty sure most of our comments were made tongue in cheek.

I root for Cleveland because they hate the Steelers like I do. I always feel bad for Browns fans because it would be hard to lose that many games every year and still show how die-hard of a fan you really are. I admire that. They take a lot of crap where I live and the Steelers fans are just relentless towards them. I was thrilled when they beat them on that Thursday night game.

There'll be no other option.

Root for the Cowboys and the Colts or stay locked up in your room for life.

Take your pick.

My son asks me that all the time... I tell him, "We'll cross that bridge when we get to it." :D

Broncos, Bears, Dolphins, Raiders, Saints, anybody but the Commanders, 49ers, or Steelers...

It's a non-issue. I pounded the Cowboys into my kids head from an early age, and they're both rock-solid fans. Taking them to games in Dallas sure helped as well.

I'm in the heart of Redsk*ns country and my son is a die-hard Skins hater. It's great.

Just do a good job raising your kids and it isn't an issue.

:lmao2:that's awesome

does he talk smack to other **** fans?

Nope. I pull for the Cowboys to pull off a trade for my son.

I can have him root for any team other than the following: Patriots, Commanders, Eagles, 49ers and Steelers. Other than that, I'm fine with just about anyone else.
