Then you have to pay him and he wants big money.

Or let him walk/franchise and trade.

Considering our 2nd rounder would be a late one, and 5th is a crapshoot, I think Roquan is worth that as a rental in this NFL landscape

Nah, you don't take a rental with your second, also bet he wouldn't sign another franchise tag.

You do know he's commanding a big contract next season right? You paying him with Diggs and possibly Ceedee?
Yes, we paying a RB2 15 million. We all know that should change next season. Roquon would solve the "stop the run" issue we have.

I would have traded for Bobby Wagner when he was on the market. He would have helped control the middle while the faster LB's controlled the edges

I know Hankins should be a rotational guy at this stage, but he really did help the run D when he was in the game.
It wasnt a totally inconsequential addition.

It was a actually for Brian Burns, those pucks was 24' and 25'.. lol
I coulda swore with the Ramsey and Stafford etc trades then had no picks left (especially 1st rounders). I mean, I can't argue with them too much because they got a championship out of it.

Looking only at the actual trades that were made, which one(s) would you have pulled the trigger on?

No speculation on players who weren't traded because we have no idea what the asking price was. Just strictly the ones we know were completed, assuming Dallas would have had to pay the same price.

Hankins was brought in for that. And you're going to probably pay Micah early. You got Diggs and you have possibly Ceedee. You may have to extend Dak.. where's all this money coming from?

Yep
They got their title, so nobody can argue.
Usually it doesn't workout that way

That's the truth. I keep thinking about that dropped interception by the 49ers defender that would have gone a long way to ending the rams hopes. All those trades would have been meaningless

Roquon Smith is a good player, but is that really the area you want to devote significant resources to?

Just my opinion, I won't extend Dak unless he can get us to the Championship round. Hankins occupies the blockers so the linebackers can make the tackles. If they would play Parsons at LB more often that would work. But Parsons is playing on the line for most snaps. LVE is NOT a prolific tackler like Roquon. Tanks contract will be extended with a huge bonus and void able years. Keep in mind, my thinking come from the perspective of a GM that doesn't have a "friendship" connection with his players. Too many of our players "stealing" money from friendly JJ.
