I'd be ok with either but I've got a feeling that if Romo were named NFL MVP then there is a pretty good shot that the Cowboys had a pretty great year, record wise, and would be in the hunt for a Superbowl so that's probably the better overall deal for Romo and the Cowboys.

Besides the fact if Romo won MVP it would guarantee the Boys did great that year ( W-L record a big part of a QB winning MVP), whereas if Ware won DMVP, it doesn't necessarily mean we did well that year (stats only really matter, not so much W-L), Romo could use it more than Ware from a perception point of view.

So if either would win an MVP and the W-L record was the same in both cases, I'd have to wish it for Romo. He gets trashed so often even by Boys fans, whereas at least to this point Ware does not.
