What a great problem to have, lol. All wrapped up with two games left in the regular season.

romo needs 2 full games to play. we need to see what he has left. if he dominates he becomes better trade bait and may even help us in the playoffs.

I would love to see Romo out there again slinging it. Glad I don't have to make that decision tho. ;)

Play everyone for the first half. Then rest everyone that is nicked up or tends to get nicked up plus zeke and dak.

For example, Sean Lee. He seems healthy now but it's rare he stays this healthy... rest him. Same for Dez. Witten, rest him as well even though he typically stays healthy. Just would hate to lose him. The oline. Keep them in while Romo gets snaps. After he plays a quarter, rest him and them. If they have the depth.

EVERYBODY .. I want to give it to Detroit and not give the giants a playoff spot.

Not lose .. just put it in the hands of the backups

There's a reason why the NFL limits rosters. Too many players, and players can easily be hoarded or stashed away. This could be done for many reasons such as preventing your division rivals from getting players they need or manipulating the market to drive up costs of certain positions for other teams.

I see your point, but it's not that complicated to avoid that by some simple caveats when you establish the rule.

First, it would seem to make sense that December signees are all paid some mandatory minimal amount per game, and second, that they cannot be signed to anything beyond the current season.

If anything, the league should let all 53 players on the roster be active at the end of the season and in the playoffs. Adding more roster spots by itself would be abused, exploited and a nightmare to deal with given the NFL salary cap.

Hey, even if that's all we could get done, count me in. It's progress. Too late for us this year, but it can't happen soon enough regardless.

Romo helps on the sideline in the playoffs when Dak is playing.

To me the question is...If we lose to the Lions does that affect how we approach the Eagles game? Do we play to win in Philly to avoid limping into the playoffs with two straight losses or do the starters still only play one half?

The more I think about the eagle game, the more I think about not playing Dak or Zeke at all, I could just see one of their scrub defense guys going for knees in a meaningless rivalry game

I wouldnt intentionally lose, but I would rest the Oline, Witten, Lee, Scandrick at least the 2nd half of both games. I would also rest Zeke and play more McFadden....screw the rookie rushing record....we dont need a dumb injury.

I don't think we see him at all in a meaningless game in mop up duty, mainly out of respect
Garrett plays his starters. He did it in 2014 at Washington and IMO, he will do it these last two weeks as well.

With a first round bye, he can't let Dak or anyone else who is healthy sit. Every game he plays, Dak learns something new. Two more weeks will only help him and I think the coaches will see it the same way. Even if they don't feel that way, they want to keep the status quo and remain in their routine.

It is best for the team to just play it out and I think that's exactly what Garrett will do.

I disagree that its best (with exception of Dak playing both remaining 1st halves), but I do agree its probably what Garett does...only takes one key injury to kick yourself and/or change that philosophy. Too risky with a few key guys (that I mentioned above).

Well I agree but we do have to watch who we would sit and how much. We could still set a franchise record for the team in wins. But I do know if we don't be careful and have a major injury, especially after the half, this place will explode questioning JG.

We disagree, but that's cool.

Have a great night.
