Webster is NOT a top 5 cb. He is a good cb, but Roy just isn't that good.

I could be wrong on this, but I think he gave up few Yards per Pass then any other CB in the league.

We dont need a number one posession reciever, we need a number one game breaking type receiver. Other teams do not fear any of Dallas receviers. Thereby shrinking the field for opposing defenses and not creating appropriate spacing for the offense. Spencer has been a monumental disapointment. For a guy who is unblockable during practice, he is very blockable during games. A number one pass rusher needs to more than play the run.

That is ridiculous. Have you ever played football? Williams had a good game and his and others play against Tampa forced the Giants to back the safeties up allowing for all that running room. Williams also made many key blocks on long runs.

Spencer has started two games and you are calling him a bust?

And in that game, the Bucs ammassed a whopping 2 touchdowns through the air, one of which was a garbage-time touchdown.

If over 4 quarters of football our guys only give up 2 touchdowns and one of those comes when the game is well in hand and we're up by 17+, I'm not complaining too much. Especially not in Week 1. Especially not when that game in Week 1 results in a W.

in a game where we ran the ball like crazy, Roy was downfield blocking his tail off. Roy was even blocking for Witten when he caught the ball a few times.

Sure he didn't contribute in the passing game, but not many did, since Romo was way off all game.

To blame the WR cause the QB can't put the ball in the right spots is wrong. Romo was high or behind his WRs all game long.

Roy isn't a bust. Neither is Spencer. Spencer did some great things against the run. He even got pressure on Eli a few times, but just couldn't get a sack.

This is what I think will happen.

Romo and Roy eventually hit their stride mid-season. We will some flashes of that GREAT CONNECTION prior to that.

I cant explain why the combination of Ware and Spencer isnt getting more pressure and any sacks?

Except for the Bucs game I think he's definitely been more than just okay in run support. His pass rush isn't to where I want it to be but then again neither is pretty much anybody elses so while we're at it so let's call them out too. Quite frankly if I'm being completely honest and I know it's sacrilege but D. Ware's play has disappointed me just as much as anybody's. We've come to expect no-show performances from many of these guys on D so that's of no surprise to me but the one constant has always been D. Ware except for these last 2 games.
