I got All Pro this morning along with NCAA and it's a great game. I prefer NCAA, that is my favorite football game ever made now but All Pro has certain things better. the blocking is great and in turn helps out the quality of the running game which is my favorite part of the game but everything else is pretty tight too. NCAA is better though IMO, the gameplay is better to me and then CL mode just makes it even better.

Yeah, the Madden AI is crap. There always seems to be something that is nearly impossible to defend. But I find that it's generally those that suck the hardest that belly-ache the most. If you were any good, you could defend against people who run the same plays over and over again. Or, if you're determined to suck, find a group of people online who will either : A. agree not to glitch, and play sim - or B. agree to suck just as bad as you do.

You can get some really great sim games of Madden going, if you want to. And you can do it without having to use stretched out players who aren't on NFL rosters.

Got NCAA this evening. It feels a lot smooter, though I've only played one game. And I love the gang-tackling. It feels a lot more violent, like it's s'posedta. OK, enough dilly-dallying, back to the game.

All Pro is like 2k5 on steroids. Better animations, better control, refined gameplay. I HIGHLY recommend it if you like playing sim football.

Tecmo Super Bowl still owns every football game made. The game wasn't realistic at all, but it was the funnest by far. Nothing will ever beat it in my eyes.

I played a little NCAA last night. Same basic game, but I did like the preseason options of recruiting and the spring drills. The graphics are better too. Motivation plays a big role, I guess kind of like momentum in the past, but I picked off a pass and all my DBs upgraded 1 because of the motivation. The presentation is better overall...it does look alot like the past games, so if people have gripes with that they are valid. I just like having the updated rosters and the little tweaks that happen with each season.
