Well to "discuss" something sometimes you have to make comparisons, isn't that what you and others have been doing? "2K8/2K5>>>>>>Madden W00T!"? If this is a 2K8 topic then Madden or EA shouldn't be mentioned at all either.

I guess when you start a thread saying "So who's buying 2K8" you only want one word answers "yay or nay" is that correct? If not then you should get used to people coming in and expressing their opinions about the game and other games similier to it, because I can tell you right now you're going to get a "No, I prefer Madden because it offers this" and then somebody is going to reply "Madden sucks, it's the same thing every year". It's a discussion board, get freaking used to it.

All Pro is like 2k5 on steroids. Better animations, better control, refined gameplay. I HIGHLY recommend it if you like playing sim football.

For me, the fundamental problem with this game is that there is no consistency in the approach VC has chosen. They go out and sign up a bunch of NFL legends, then outfit them in XFL-reject uni's and have them play in anime-esque stadiums to the sound of hip-hop "mash-ups".

It's as if the people designing the game and the one's doing the art direction were on different continents.

Tecmo Super Bowl still owns every football game made. The game wasn't realistic at all, but it was the funnest by far. Nothing will ever beat it in my eyes.

No no, Lawrence Taylor on that game was unstopable, he'd steal Bo's girlfriend and lunch money, before giving him a wedgy.

Randell Cunningham in that game was freakish too, could never tackle the guy.

Then there's Dan Marino, if anybody has ever sacked him I'd give that person a nickle.

I'm a big Madden fan. I like the offseason mode. Specifically the draft.

I like realism in my games. If I wanted to build a team with Elway, Rice, Sanders, etc etc etc, then Madden even gives you the option of creating a team and creating players.

Madden pwns the cartoonish game you're slobbering over.

Oh, and the commercials are stupid.

I will say though, that I think Mario Kart is the greatest game ever.
