We need a LB to make tackles around the LOS. I am tired or seeing Smith get washed out of the running lane and then tail the RB down the field for a tackle after a big gain. Parsons stays at LB.

Jaylon made a few tackles at the line of scrimmage and was decent in coverage today. Guys play better and it's ok to give credit when you hate a player. It's not all bad

While I’m at it since I started a thread.. Parsons needs to be a edge rusher from this point forward. Dallas got lucky and stole a potential phenom edge rusher when stupidly drafting a linebacker. Now they need to just go ahead and convert him to that. His closing speed is something else.


Also, is Tony Pollard still a joke and nothing but a scat back to some of you or do you finally agree with me that the guy is probably a top 10 back if he got the volume of a starting NFL RB?

I also never want to hear how NFL coaches are these all knowing people who should never be questioned after that blunder with half a minute to go. That’s amateur.

I'll be honest: I had zero expectations for the db free agents. I think Kearse was robbed on the int as well.

While I'm at it LVE brought it today. Even Jaylon was out there making plays.

Our defense doesn’t suck.

It’s really what I hoped for before the season.

Keep points low and get turnovers.

Defense is a big positive to start the season but that’s with the asterisk that it’s the NFL and all defenses are not good.

Micah Parsons is the best LB on the team. I keep him in the middle where he can run to the ball and impact the game in many more ways. Blitz him more…stand him up outside and send him off Tank’s shoulder. Occasionally let him spell Gregory, but I’m not moving him full time to pass rusher unless we move back to a 3-4. Use him everywhere so teams cannot account for him.

No way man. No way.

You don’t get potentially the next Lawrence Taylor and put him at middle linebacker.

We saw a rookie player get told in the middle of the week that he’s playing defensive end and we watched him nearly wreck a game by himself and get held so much that the refs just had to throw away their whistle or they’d have to blow it all game.

That is how he impacts the pass game. That’s how you get all the value from this pick.

I’m incredibly impressed with what I saw.

Well then, if we keep Parsons at puss rusher, we need to draft more LBs, because #9 is still a liability.

LBs are a dime a dozen.

Pass rushers are rare and the guy is a natural. LT vibes.

Putting him on edge some is fine
Moving him around to get best matchup is better
But mostly he should be at LB

Kearse played a great game
Not bad for a guy known for his ST play
