I am just trying to figure out if I have a NVIDIA or not :(

No you don't unless it was listed in your build or you did it yourself, most computers are going to use the Intel graphics. You really don't need an Nvida card unless you game frequently or do CAD/Workstation stuff or heavy duty HD media editing.

What MD said. Once you've upgraded to W10/done obligatory restarts/installed GeForce Experience if you don't already have it, run the GFE driver update tool and it should update for you.

GFE says my driver is already up-to-date. Still have the same problem I described up above^^^

Have had it since last night and it is much better than 8.1.

It launches as desktop and start key puts up apps in small start menu just like windows 7, or you can have it full screen like 8 but desktop task bar still shows.

The snap screen windows key + left/right arrows for split screen or window key + up/down arrows for quadrants is a nice feature as well for multi-taskers.

So I just got an email today saying my notification to upgrade should arrive in a few days or a few weeks. I requested an upgrade weeks ago. Why the wait?

Intel(R) HD Graphics Family a video card?

If it is not reading your video card due to not having the up to date drivers, it would resort back to the integrated graphics card, however, if you don't know which one you have, it is also likely that it is only an integrated graphics card.

Has anyone else tried it yet?? I downloaded my free upgrade yesterday and so far I really like it. It is light years better than Windows 8. It loads really fast and for the most part I know where everything I need is located. I think this will be the new XP / Windows 7. Microsoft gets it right every other release.

I am just trying to figure out if I have a NVIDIA or not :(

When I upgraded my second computer this morning I had this type of issue. I fixed it by downloading the NVIDIA driver from the NVIDIA website. Make sure you get the one for Windows 10. I then manually uninstalled the video driver and rebooted. I then manually loaded the NVIDIA driver. Everything is working perfectly now. You can expect these types of hiccups with 3rd party installations with new version of operating systems when they first come out but you can usually fix it with a little time and effort.

Note: when you do this, the NVIDIA driver will be located in C:\ NVIDIA. Just use the option to choose the driver instead of letting Windows choose the driver.

To me, I love the customization of windows. I can tweak and code just about anything personally on Windows. I grew up on it, so when I get on a mac everything to me seems really for the casual user. Mac has it's own application store, but I enjoy how windows is completely customizable.

Comes down to preference but if the user is tech savy, Windows can be more appealing for that reason.

That's just so wrong on so many levels. You can do any kind of customization you want on a Mac. Any kind.
