Meh, that is more like a service pack that fixed all the crud in 8, not a "new" OS.
Never stopped apple from doing that. Lol

If you have the I still believe sax player from the 80's classic movie The Lost Boys in your sig image...you HAVE looked back....WAY back.
Virtual Box, VMWare, or straight KVM?
Whatever gets me out of 8......I am doing it!
Apache VirtualBox

Kind of extreme isn't it?
Oracle gave VirtualBox to Apache? I swore I still download it from Oracle.
EDIT: Nope, it's not Apache VirtualBox, it's still owned by Oracle.
I know one day I will need to give up my Win7 64Bit but hopefully I can hold out 5 more years?!
I have a sony vaio z series, compact fast model. Win7, I-7, 8gb 512ram. Since 2009.
I would also like to get 5 more years.
I built a rig last fall with Win7 OEM I bought like 6 copies for future builds.
Maybe I was just lucky, but I never had any of the problems others did with Vista. I still have it on my computer at home (Laptop and Work Computer have Windows 7), and it is my preferred OS.
Gave up Windows many years ago for Macs and have never looked back. It just works.
I have read like 10 articles on this, and I still am stumped about whether or not to change. I understand there is a possibility that they will charge subscription fees after 2 years but they are not saying that in an agreement EULA.
So do you think that it is worth it to go from WIndows 7 to 10? I have heard very positive things about the OS so far, I have Windows Media Center, so it sucks that would be gone.
