Jerry Jones for headcoach
Witten has high school coaching experience - it’s a pretty big leap to the NFL. I love Witten but he’s not ready. That would be my pick. Sanders is probably second because he's been a head coach and has shown he can be successful at it (not as successful as Witten, though).
Next would be the coordinators who've not been given a shot at failing as a head coach yet (Glenn, Johnson, Moore). Frazier, Zimmer and Saleh all have tried and failed, so they would not be on my list.
I think they should have cut ties with McCarthy and brought in Belichick. But I would have had no problem with Harbaugh. Out of Glenn and Saleh, I'd prefer Glenn because he has not failed as a head coach.Witten has high school coaching experience - it’s a pretty big leap to the NFL. I love Witten but he’s not ready.
Coach Prime would be the drill sergeant the team needs right now. Too bad he’s probably not seriously considering coming here.
Nobody else on the list makes me think ‘Yeah, he could take them places!’ They shoulda cut ties with McCarthy after the GB playoff debacle and seriously pursued Jim Harbaugh.
I’d settle for Glenn or Saleh. Get a defensive-minded guy in here because defense-heavy is probably the shorter route back to contention.
