Who should we root for Sunday GreenBay or Philly?

In a strange way it may be better if Philly beats Greenbay to get them to 4 losses. I just would feel better about our chances of making the playoffs if we have a cushion over the Packers because I don't think San Fran or Seattle will be able to catch or jump Dallas in the standings because all of those teams in the NFC west still have to play each other.

The tiebreaker over Seattle is a huge advantage for us. Big games this weekend with Detroit playing Arizona and Philly vs Greenbay.

Hell no bro. I do not want the Eagles to be 8-2 when it's time to play them on thanksgiving. Let the packers smack them up this week, and let's put them down on thanksgiving and take this division. Not to mention there is no guarantee we meet green bay in the playoffs. If we both make it to the nfc championship then so be it, we need to prove we are the best anyway.

Doesn't matter, we are going to have to play both teams if things go well. GB is going to the playoffs and will do well.

It wouldn't matter, even if I started out pulling for the Eagles to win... I would find myself in the middle of the game pulling for Green Bay. I've tried to root for one of our division rivals to win a game before, it just doesn't work very well.

Green Bay. The objective is to win the East. We do that easier the more losses Philadelphia piles up.

No way I even remotely consider rooting for philly. We need Green Bay to win and we're tied for first.

They'd still be in 1st place even if they lose to GB because they're 2-0 in the division.

I don't understand how we would ever want Philly (or anyone in our division) to win if the division winner goes to the playoffs .... with all things being equal??? What am I missing ... even after reading your post 3 times?

I'm rooting for a very physical game...I don't care who wins.
