Who should we root for Sunday GreenBay or Philly?

It depends on how good you think the Eagles are with Sanchez at the helm. If they go 1-6 the rest of the way with the only win against the Packers, you may end up wishing that didn't happen as the Cowboys board a plane to Green Bay in January.

Edit: That didn't come out right, should have been if they go 1-6 with the only win against the Packers, you would be happy that we're not boarding a plane to Green Bay.:)

You want Green Bay to win and lose Rodgers for the season.

(Did I write that out loud?)

Root for packers for sure. The Eagles have an easier schedule than us. The lions will fall apart and green bay will win that division. Just needs lions to lose a lot so they cant get a wild card

I am going to be honest....if Eagles special teams continues to produce points and Sanchez doesn't over-think Kelley offense...I am not sure who in NFC can stop Eagles. I still don't think Eagles have enough to beat Denver or New England in Super Bowl match.

how is that? The Eagles still have to play two very difficult teams (Green Bay and Seattle). Dallas only remaining difficult non-divisional game is Indy.

I'd root for a team full of Vick's and Winston's and Ray Rice's before I would ever root for them. Sorry, but those fans did this to me.

Why is this even a question? The first goal of the season is to win the division. Guarantees a playoff spot with a home game. Philly is in our division and is ahead of us. I can see if Philly was out of reach and we just wanted a wild card spot but that is not the case.

Plus, I will never root for that scum team.

Is it OK if I root for this? I can't ever root for the Eagles and I fear the team having to go to Lambeau in January. (Disclaimer: I am not wishing ill will on the hallowed grounds of Lambeau or any of the players or fans. This is simply the way my die hard mind works)

One of the consolation prizes the Cowboys got for losing the division to the Eagles last year is an easier schedule, and here it is: Philly gets the Packers and Carolina, we get the Bears and Saints.

Since the Carolina thing didn't work out, I would like Philly to lose their (harder) game this time.

Never, never, ever root for philly....or the giants. Those are my second and third rules of the NFL. Number 1 is always support the Dallas Cowboys.

In a strange way it may be better if Philly beats Greenbay to get them to 4 losses. I just would feel better about our chances of making the playoffs if we have a cushion over the Packers because I don't think San Fran or Seattle will be able to catch or jump Dallas in the standings because all of those teams in the NFC west still have to play each other.

The tiebreaker over Seattle is a huge advantage for us. Big games this weekend with Detroit playing Arizona and Philly vs Greenbay.

Man, I think this is a great question. I guess I still have to lean towards rooting for GB since the division is still very winnable, but I really don't want Dallas to run into GB in the playoffs. I don't see Dallas being able to hang in a shootout with Rodgers.
