If I had to make a bet on an exact group on the cut to 53, it would be 10 DL, but as follows:

If Jones' knee does not require surgery, it's possible they could wait to put him on IR which means he would be on the 53 for 24 hours then moved to IR. He could then return from IR if he recovers.

Those may have been the starters but add Richard Ash, Stephen Paea, Lewis Neal, Benson Mayowa who were all on the 53 and worked in Mary's rotation. That's 12 d-lineman and I may have missed one. We will not keep fewer than 12. Where will it come from? 3 TE's instead of 4, 3 RB's instead of 4, 2 QB's with one on the PS and on

Exactly, as it is now we are going to cut one or two out of Lenoir, Deonte Thompson and Noah Brown. I don't see Switzer making the roster, or being significantly better than the guys we keep.

Thompson and Brown have been MIA; I would take Lenior or both, anyway.

Agree on Lenoir but I think they make keep Thompson because Sanjay Lal has a past with him and they need speed. And by "I think", I'm saying I have a wild hunch that I will deny posting if I'm wrong.

Injuries could end up making all these decisions but I think they could keep Rico as the 4th TE at the expense of a 7th WR or 9th OL.

No its not wrong. He has 1 catch for 7 yards and 1 TD... on a broken down play. In two preseason games:

He's lighting it up all right. All world Geoff Swaim has twice as many catches and yards as him.

From that game log you're correct, perhaps in the second game his reception didn't count. Maybe a penalty, not sure.

By the way I never said he was lighting it up, even going off of one catch for a TD and that's still producing on a limited snap count

I think Ward is firmly in the “DT” section rather than the “Bubble” section.
