Who told me that the Eagles would be fine?

Come on man, if you can’t see that the Cowboys are very inconsistent, then I suspect your faith in them has gone religious… peace though… We’re both cowboys fans.

Cowboys could lose but evidently you don't watch many game by other teams who also have played poorly vs bad teams who have lost games. Use the same microscope on other teams that you use on the Cowboys. Dallas is winner of 7 of their last 8 games. If Dallas does not play perfect all of a sudden we are bums?

My blue tint is just fine. Fact is people here go overboard both direction. Win and boy we are going to the SB, lose of play bad or not blow a team out and this team sucks. Frankly I don't think much of the knee jerk reaction fans. Cowboys are a good team and how do they prove it? the same way everyone else does by going out and winning. Cowboys have done that to a tune of 12-4

I don't know about "bums" but if they go into January and get bounced again, the season really wasn't that much of a success. It would be no different than the failures of 2021 or 2016 or 2014 or whatever. Three playoff wins in 20+ years. That's pathetic. People are tired and done with the, "hey, we won 12-13 games, it was a great season........." as we then get embarrassed with another first round playoff exit.

People are beyond that. Rack up all the regular season wins one wants. At this point, it's meaningless if they keep getting to January and crap all over themselves again.

I’ve been saying this for the entire season. If they don’t make noise in the playoffs and Dak plays sub par. It’s time to start looking at grooming his replacement. It’s also time to jettison McCarthy and Moore and bring in a new offensive scheme

Count me in with the other guy. I'm not impressed. We haven't looked like a legit contender since the Vikings game.

A tough fought match against the Giants on Thanksgiving.

Up by 2 points going into the 4th quarter against one of the worst teams in the NFL. Dallas played like crap all game up until that point.

Had to get lucky to beat the freaking Houston Texans.

Lost to the Jaguars

Got down 10-0 early to the Eagles, and it took 4 turnovers and a herculean effort by our quarterback to squeak out that win at home against their backup QB.

We looked a little better than the Titans without Derrick Henry and their starting QB.

As a result, my expectations are not high.

12-4 is pretty consistent if you ask me.

Why do fans not get this? Are they that clueless?

that was easy money yep No has a top defense

And then lil Jalen the MVP will come back a put up 40 on the hapless Giants
Would love to see a shocker like the Giants helping us out.
Would be a first.
But just what if they actually wanted to play with some pride for once, would that not be a shocker.

^^^ One of the geniuses that told us that with Andy Dalton under center, the Cowboys would be better offensively. Then he gets his chance to be correct when Dak goes down...Andy Dalton led offense then proceeded to score less points in 4 full games than Dak did his last 4th quarter before his injury.

It went so bad that Jerry Jones immediately gave Dak all his money.

But hey this genius is back at it telling us how invaluable Dak is again.
I'm no Dalton fan but he played behind a decimated offensive line - worse than what Prescott had and from memory the team had a higher winning % under Dalton than Prescott during that season as well. Very much the same as this season with Rush and Prescott. Either coincidence or the defense plays harder for third string quarterbacks.

People focus on how many points an offense scores whilst I concentrate on complementary football and actually winning games. Scoring is for show (especially during garbage time) whilst finishing is for dough.

It's about as consistent as the majority of post season contenders.
This team has as many homerun threats offensively/defensively, as any other NFC team.
They all have their Achilles heel and we do as well.
Its a fair shot at this point.

Why would you parlay +6.5 and the money line. That makes zero sense. If your money is being laid on the money line then put all of it on that.

I’m glad someone said that. I was thinking that right away. Sounds like a fake bet to me.

The Eagles aren't fine. They have a serious problem at right tackle and qb. My parlay of Saints +6.5 and Saints money line was right on the money.

They sure looked fine against us. And that is very concerning about how bad our defense is.

They have major injuries. That matters. Both will be back for the playoffs. I applaud the FO for resting their players while the Cowboys continue to roll out everyone with more and more players dropping every week.
You can applaud their front office all you want, but we are winning and they are losing. I hope they sit their guys one more game and lose, and we find a way to beat Washington.

They will be really rested as the 5th seed. They better be road warriors( possible 3 games on the road). And we will be a little tired, but excited to be at home for at least 2 games in the playoffs.

The chiefs went to overtime with that Houston team. Eagles also struggled with Jacksonville when they were at full strength. Y’all need to treat all teams the same way you treat your own.

What Sydla said.

And let's be clear. Those are will (and do) tout our regular season accomplishments are just those fans who can bring themselves to admit what a failure this franchise has been over the last 20+ years. You can bet if the Cowboys had 5 NFCCG games in 20 years and a couple of SB appearances, they'd be touting them all day long. But we've been a miserable failure in the postseason, so they have to inflate the importance and significance of 12 and 13 win seasons.

Fine. Have it. But don't expect other fans to join along. The playoffs and winning in January (and February) are all that really matters and all that most fans really care about and all that history really looks back on favorably. Not the team that won 13 games and then proceeds to throw up and soil themselves on national TV in early to mid January.
