Who would you extend this year before they breakout?

I think everybody here was surprised at the Escobar pick.
I don't think it was a bad pick and neither would Lacy have been a bad pick.
If Escobar can add some decent number this [ which will be hard] then
we have our replacement TE in place.

Jason Witten was a 3rd round pick, but Escobar benefits from learning the skills from Jason. No better example to follow. And the team has to effectively build into the future. They have an acquired taste of how a tight end should be involved...and time to start being good in replacements.

Apparently, the kid has a lot going for him, and he will be up to NFL strengths shortly. That is a nice element as seen by this fan.

7m is way too much for Murray. No one will pay him more than 4-5m as a FA. He should jump at a 4/16m deal, throw in some incentives if you have to.

Charles, AD and McCoy are the tops right now and I wouldn't put Murray in their class.

Second contracts usually don't work out well for the team.

7mil is like half of what AD makes. I'm talking average, not yearly base pay.

player & transacation team & position date

Adrian Peterson at Running Back $13,714,286

Jamaal Charles at Running Back $9,050,000

LeSean McCoy at Running Back $9,000,000

Arian Foster at Running Back $8,700,000

DeAngelo Williams at Running Back $8,600,000

Matt Forte at Running Back $7,600,000

Marshawn Lynch at Running Back $7,500,000

Jonathan Stewart at Running Back $7,300,000

Ray Rice at Running Back $7,000,000

Wait, I don't see DeMarco Murray's name up there...nor a comparison of the past three season's totals for him in that group as well.

I'll do some work, but even without time, one can draw from a logical projection...and that being, one on one, when outside...do you think that Murray consistently wins that match up? I say not by what he has shown up to here. Give him a crease, and he does well...but to ignore a defender and just beat him...no, I don't think he measures up.

I wouldn't pay a future and quality price tag on current feelings of play. I wouldn't...either Dallas has created a monster about to be unleashed upon the NFL with a group of injured players that suddenly show stardom, or some of the current members of the roster really aren't the next level of play for them.

As to time, one makes time for a challenge to fact or truth. I presently have some time, but that's not a character flaw.

Halfway through the season, if Rolando McClain is playing well or decent, I would look to extend him at a team-friendly deal. I think he only signed a one-year contract. I have a feeling he might play pretty well for us.

Easy fella'...you are being fed a point of reference similar to a legal team's support of cash flow represented by the owning firm...not description around actual topic on a non-agenda playing field.

Talk about a decoder ring lack of cereal box tops...that one was building from a troll war during the lock out. Go figure that in 'on the block' jargon.

Reference picture:
A plush legal office where team conferences center on guarantee of profit margin and control, rather than legal principal involved.

I guess it's easier to pick up on a High School teacher having sex with a student, for identifying what is involved. And the student filming it all before yelling wolf...now, combine both looks.
